“저는 작곡을 좋아하기는 하지만 사실 DJ에 좀더 자신이 있어요. 프로듀서로서 목표는 제 셋에 넣고 싶은 음악을 만드는 거에요. 그리고 감정적이고, 사람들을 격하게 춤추게 만들거나 그저 눈을 감고 명상에 빠지게 할 수 있는 음악을 만들고 싶어요. 어떤 친구들은 제 사운드가 “관능적이고 영적이면서 신나는 음악”이라고 하더군요. 너무 고맙죠!”

“I really do feel much more confident as a DJ than a producer, but it is really satisfying to work on some songwriting skills. My goal as a producer is to make songs that I really want to play in my sets. I try to make songs that are emotional, and push people either to dance wildly or to close their eyes and contemplate. I have a friend here who has dubbed my sound “sensual spiritual bangers”.”

- Clique Records debuts a guest mix series "CRMX" introducing french producer D.K. aka 45 ACP.
 
- After a couple of great releases on Parisian label Antinote under his Alias D.K. a dreamy house lo-fi boogie workouts with "DROP" & "Love On Delivery" Dangkhoa Chau has debuted this year with a full album of 45 ACP material called Change Of Tone for Ron Morelli’s L.I.E.S label, sounds ranging from the slo-mo cosmic chug of 7th Circle, to the percussive boogie leaning Ground to Ground or the Sakamoto-esque lush b-side opener Hidden Garden. Undoubtedly one of our favorite producer of the moment and one to watch as time goes on.

The story goes that he's a deejay/producer/musician, Rocksteady Disco label boss hailing from Detroit, a cancer, probably an enneagram 7, who's known to consume copious amounts of third wave coffee and fix deejay booths around the city. 
This mix was recorded live at a legendary vinyl-only party in Detroit called Slow Jams back on Labor Day 2016. It's some of my favorite music that I grew up hearing around my house or have discovered in my never-ending digging escapades. Heaps of jazz funk, rare groove, and balearic sounds inside."

“I seek a sense of freshness in music. For instance, my first album ‘Déjà Vu’ has a very different texture compared to the music that I make nowadays. Some people prefer my works from early days, but I don’t think you have to stick to that phase if you don’t get inspired from it anymore.”
