ona:v is a Polish-born DJ, producer and promoter with an ear for groovy dark techno and emotive electro. A scientist by day and a DJ by night, the Edinburgh-based artist is an integral figure in her locale, both as a standalone name and through event curation. Having built an extensive track collection for several years, ona:v debuted on Edinburgh’s club circuit in 2019, with bookings across the UK making up her diary since. On home turf, ona:v plays regular gigs in Scotland’s biggest venues, having supported Ben Klock, Isabel Soto, Clouds, Paige, EKATA and many others. Outside of Scotland, she closed for Clouds and Randomer at The Cause, played at London’s Risen Festival and in Berlin’s Mensch-Meier and About Blank. 2022 saw her Polish debut, and in 2021/22 she streamed from Berlin’s HÖR Radio. More recently, for two years in a row, she headlined the basement stage curated by Sisu at Hidden Door — a prolific visual art and music festival in Edinburgh, and performed at Scotland’s biggest festival – Terminal V.

In 2020, ona:v founded @epika-edinburgh, and started promoting EPiKA’s bi-monthly party called CiRCLE in Edinburgh. Here, she creates a nurturing environment for beginner female and non-binary DJs. She also garners a radio residency on London’s Threads Radio and is an internal member and a resident DJ with the Sisu crew. Production-wise, she has released tracks on multiple UK compilations and released her debut EP, Response to the Techno Crisis, on Diffuse Reality in 2022.

Dogheadsurigeri is rising from the smoke and strobes of Poland’s contemporary club music underground, fast becoming known for her cutting-edge techno/trance sound and even faster DJ sets. Raised in the sweat-soaked club spaces of Warsaw and currently based in the epicentre of London’s electronic music scene, Dogheadsurigeri has been busy creating a signature style that fuses the high-speed catharsis of techno with the euphoric, blurred neon vision of trance. Her debut single, ‘Fluid Matter’, dropped in early 2024, catching the ear of front-left ravers and industry tastemakers alike, earning Best Track shout-outs from CRACK and Mixmag for its new-gen approach to peak-time techno.

The artist's ear for what makes a dancefloor work has been honed from years of experience as a club DJ specialising in forward-thinking dance music. She came up as a promoter and co-host of the MESTIÇO club night in Warsaw, sharing line-ups with the likes of TSVI, Aya, Varg, LCY, buttechno, and DJ Fingerblast. Dogheadsurigeri has since received calls from clubs and festivals across Europe like FOLD, Corsica Studios, Unsound, Garage Noord, Fuga, Recyclart, and Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice. She’s contributed mixes to Boiler Room, HÖR, NTS, Rinse, Kiosk Radio, Red Light Radio, and Ransome Note. Her mix for Tank magazine, which celebrates y2k trance, was named one of the best of 2023 by CRACK and Mixmag.

Dogheadsurigeri uses her platform to pay it forward to the Polish and wider Eastern European scene. She's been a member of Oramics, an initiative that supports the participation of women, non-binary, and the LGBTQ+ community in electronic music since 2018, representing the project in panel discussions at Unsound and CTM festival. The artist has helped put together Oramics’ Total Solidarity compilation, which has raised over €11,000 for grassroots LGBTQ+ organisations and been streamed more than 170,000 times. She’s also linked up with NTS and Diesel to spotlight cutting-edge producers coming out of Poland.
Born under the Scorpio zodiac sign, Dogheadsurigeri is ruled by impulsiveness and passion, which is reflected in her fierce belief in music, community, and club spaces as a force for good. For her, it’s all or nothing, which means her mission to unite club kids and push forward-thinking electronic music into the future will continue evolving beneath the strobes, where she belongs.

Axel Karakasis is the most recognizable Greek name in the Techno scene. His career is marked by several classic themes and a series of appearances that have established him as an international DJ. 

The rise to his present status did not happen overnight, but goes back to the 80s and the 90s, when Techno made its first appearance. Fascinated by this new wave, Axel’s courtship with electronic music saw a very different light… 

By the late 90s, he was already known through various DJ residencies in Athens, as well as through his regular events with his team “Bubbles” –to be remembered to this date by many! This was when the techno wiz-kid earned his place among the top Greek DJs and appeared in numerous events in the biggest clubs of the Greek capital! He soon became the most wanted Greek Techno DJ, playing regularly in the biggest venues in Athens, Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Crete and all over his native Greece. 

Being a restless spirit led Axel to new avenues in music production. He always wanted to play unique music in his sets. That’s what drove him to get into the studio and begin his own productions. In 2000, he had his first release on Pornographic Recordings and this was only the beginning, as a string of classic releases followed in the likes of Intec Records, MB Elektronics, Primate, etc. to establish himself in a genre he referred to as “Groovy Techno”! With his very own mark on discography, Axel’s international career took off. Confirming his status as the most sought after Greek Techno DJ of his time, Axel headlines events in some of the best clubs in the world, such as the Rex Club (Paris), Womb (Tokyo), Turnmills (London), tours regularly countries like Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Korea, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Holland and Malta, to name a few, and has appeared in top festivals like Awakenings (Netherlands) Rabac Festival (Croatia), Apokalypsa (Czech Republic), etc.: he keeps exciting crowds all over the world!

At present, Axel releases his music in top record labels, like Kombination Research, Planet Rhythm, Tronic and others, whereas his tracks have featured in well known compilations and mix CDs, such as Extreme Euphoria (Ministry of Sound), Cream Ibiza, I Love Techno, and many many more. However, his work wouldn’t be complete without his own imprint! In his first venture, he was the co-founder of Omega Audio Recordings, which received rave reviews and support by top DJs world-wide, as well as being a platform for new talents to see the spotlight. In September 2007, Axel decided to channel all his energy into his very own brainchild, Remain Records, which is gradually transforming into a brand encompassing both vinyl (Remain Records) and digital (Remain Records and Remain Limited) releases by Axel, The Advent & Industrialyzer, Marco Bailey, Cristian Varela, Alexander Kowalski, A.Paul as well as newer talent. 

Axel’s strong reputation is based on his consistency towards the genre that established him. Always faithful to techno, Axel Karakasis delivers all-fresh, brand-new sounds that evolve.
