Born and raised in Houston, TX, MC Beezy is considered as one of the popular city's rising stars. The 26 year old rapper has a long musical history with a former bass player for a father. MC Beezy also spent a great amount of time in Church growing up, his mother being the Minister of music. Although the seemingly natural love for music has always existed, his first passion was basketball, a sport which he played up until his final year of high school. MC Beezy started to seriously pursue a rap career in early 2009 as part of a duo called "Absolute"; he went by "MDot Beezy" then. The "MC" was created when he began hosting nightclubs and local parties, mainly on the collegiate level. After building up a heavy local following by dropping mix tapes, doing covers and indulging heavily in the city's nightlife, MC Beezy teamed up with Rai P in the summer of 2011 and made the smash hit single "Swagged Up I Be Killin". Having one of the biggest songs in the country, several major record labels were offering deals but he held off and eventually created Absolute Music Crew as an independent record company. MC Beezy has what many would call a versatile style of rapping, blending smooth melodies with rather harsh lyrics, and delivering "party" tunes from time to time. Influenced heavily by the "Golden Era" of hip hop and R&B, he is a fan of today's legends including Notorious B.I.G, Eminem, R.Kelly, Joe and several others. MC Beezy aims to change the world's perspective of his hometown and bring a new sound and feel to the people. MC Beezy is on the rise to stardom, and cosigns from Houston rap pioneers like Slim Thug and Bun B aren't hurting his campaign!
