"The opening track, 'A Little Class', sets a jazzy vibe in the spotlight, one that’s matched with smooth basslines. The elements, including the rare wobbles that are showcased in this production, somehow blend together like a charm, giving the Drew’s Theory EP a great start. 'Side Effects' is a tune full of interesting teases and intriguing elements. The dark touch may cause confusion for the unfamiliar, but is kept fresh for those who understand. Hypnotic percussion moves like a voodoo spell through the sound field, looking to unleash the badman inside the listener. 'Acid Vibes' houses an ambience that is hard to generate, leading the listener to experience the true roots of dub music. 'Soho Jam' heads back into familiar territory, laying down fresh saxophone and bassline patterns that make you feel warm inside. 'Perhaps' is a sexy stepper that initiates comfortable chills thanks to some great sample work that's followed by enthralling vocals.

Puerto Rico was devastated by hurricane Maria on September 20, 2017 — the strongest storm to make landfall there since 1928.

The island’s already-fragile electrical grid was completely destroyed. Half of Puerto Rico’s 3.5 million residents still remain without access to clean water. There are widespread major food and fuel shortages. In the face of this humanitarian disaster, the Trump government has repeatedly misinformed the public while carrying out grossly negligent aid distribution.

100% of the proceeds of this compilation will be donated to The Hurricane Maria Community Relief & Recovery Fund, a grassroots organization working on recovery and rebuilding in the areas most affected by Maria. The Fund is housed at the Center for Popular Democracy and is governed by local grassroots organizations like Taller Salud. More info: http://bit.ly/2yrQ7l5
