Joe Koshin makes his debut on Buried Records with his new EP ‘Inside’. Originally from Yorkshire, Joe’s introduction to dance music was forged in the North-east’s lively dance scene. This is where the sounds of Dubstep and Drum & Bass first piqued his interest in Electronic music. Currently based in London, he has developed his style in the renowned dance culture of the capital, elements of Breakbeat, Electro and Garage began to feature more prominently in his musical output. Rinse FM, Balamii, Planetaria Soundsystem, Childsplay and 199 have supported Koshin’s recent releases.
With all three tracks from the album being made during the pandemic, eerie tones can be heard throughout the EP reflecting the struggles we have all faced recently. Joe explains ‘I got myself into a pretty deep creative rut, and my output was at a real low'. With this lack of motivation, he struggled to make time for music and even considered throwing in the towel.
Our pick falls on the final track ‘There’s Nothing’ which pays homage to the Brazilian music Joe discovered during the lockdown. Clever sampling fuses cultural influence with his fierce sound seamlessly and is the hidden gem within this release.

Leading the attack is Martial Taktics with his original track 'Fight'. Martial Taktics has been making a lot of noise in the scene in the past year and his track just proves what all the fuss is about! 

On the remix duties we have some incredible work from Mutant Bass creator and legend, Kanji Kinetic. You know if he's on a track it means business and F**K how he has delivered!? 

Who's Peal you ask? Peal remixed this original track and is an up and coming talent on the scene. Some insane production skills from the man. Peal is definitely one to watch in the future. Maybe you will be seeing more of him through us, but we wouldn't be able to confirm that ;) 

Amen Shamen has earned his respect in the rave and club community by producing on point mash ups of Jungle and Hardtek. On the dancefloor he is a force to be reckoned with and we expect this track to blasted through sound systems all summer, causing havok in da dance!
