Gonzo is the degenerate alter ego of the audio chemist Jorge Velazquez.  In 2009 he decided to start playing electronic music alongside his partner in crime Ronald Carrasquillo.  Under the name of Roll N’ J they destroyed dance floors all along the west coast of Puerto Rico with electro, nu disco, house and funky beats.  By 2010 Jorge decided to start his solo career under the alias of Gonzo, in honor of Hunter S. Thompson, one of its main influences. Gonzo decided to focus on his early influences in music to provide a more energetic and fresh experience.  His passion for metal, punk, reggae and break-beat, lead him to start playing Dubstep and Dance Rock in the line of artist such as Joker, Justice, Cyberpunkers, Datsik, Drivepilot, Spor, Doctor P, Skrillex, Borgore, Noisia, The Crystal Method and many others.  He has shared stages with huge Djs like Aeph, Blokhe4d (twice), Prolix, Dieselboy, Bunny, Diode, Subsonik, Neonlight, Telekinesis and Shortee.
