Collection n°015 — The Time to Listen

Today, many people don’t really listen to music anymore — they consume it. This new compilation takes the opposite approach. It’s a gentle manifesto for slowing down, for inhabiting the sound, for following the lines that unfold and letting the tension of harmonies do their work.
There are many surprises here, but none that shout for attention.

We start the journey with Prince — a piano confession that sets the tone: emotion comes first.
Then come Fink and One Self, extending the night in hushed steps until the street steps in. Grandmaster Flash reminds us where the flow was born, while Anderson .Paak captures the present moment up close. Between them, I’ve placed softer breaths — "Relax" by Rejjie Snow, and "Quiet" by The Oscar Peterson Trio.

For the dance floor, I’ve stayed on the ridge line: Channel Tres brings the club’s verticality, Kaytranada the pull, and Polo & Pan the luminous escape.

Between these poles, Suff Daddy, Lee Clarke, Shanin Blake, Caleb Arredondo, and Hernando’s Hideaway draw a palette of moods — delicate textures, morning light, saxophone warmth, and playful irony.

The final ascent embraces boldness: Frivolous refines, Zvukbroda shifts, The Illustrious Blacks set the curtain on fire. A bright finale, a reminder of how much music can still ignite.

This journey follows strong contours, peaks, and crests: slow waltzes, electronic currents, hip-hop tangents, jazz blossoms, cinematic breaths, and refrains from another era. Melody, always, serves as the rope line — something to hold onto while crossing, something to hang from while admiring the view.

I’ve sought contrast rather than rupture: between minimalism and richness, organic warmth and synthetic shimmer, intimacy and distance. Each transition isn’t a break, but a perspective shift — a way of opening new horizons.

It’s a crossing — between the memory of our inner record collections and the textures of today.
A mix that closes and opens at once: reconciling what we’ve loved with what we’ve yet to discover. An ode to form, to contrast, and to the simple joy of hearing a familiar motif — and finding it anew.

An homage to taking "the time to listen".

Ujin, originally from Georgia and now based in Berlin, Ujin has firmly established himself within the city’s vibrant musical landscape. Known for his impeccable DJ sets, Ujin masterfully blends influences from 80s and 90s minimal and house to create a captivating and dynamic sound.

As a resident of Zapped, Ujin has become a key figure in Berlin’s underground scene. His performances have electrified some of the city’s most iconic venues, including Club der Visionären, Hoppetosse, Golden Gate, Renate, Kater Blau, Revier Südost and also internationally where his refined selections consistently keep dancefloors moving.

When he’s not behind the decks, Ujin can be found in the studio, crafting innovative tracks that echo his deep-rooted passion for electronic music. With an ever-growing reputation and a keen ear for detail, Ujin is an artist who brings energy, precision, and soul to every set.


Jonaku is a Berlin-based DJ and producer who lives for those tight, percussive grooves that sit at the crossroads of minimal, house and tech-house. He pulls his inspiration straight from the city’s underground vibe, turning subtle rhythms into hypnotic tracks that have found homes on labels like DirtyHands, GGCR and Zapped Records.

When he’s not in the studio, you’ll catch him behind the decks at Berlin’s own Katerblau, GoldenGate and Renate, and he’s also taken his set to Zürich’s FriedasBüxe and Edinburgh’s CabaretVoltair.

On top of that, Jonaku is a key part of the Zapped Collective, acting as A&R for ZappedRecords and helping shape the label’s fresh, forward-thinking sound.

Deejaying since very long time & now producing.

Passion for music since childhood, many & diverse sounds have influenced him such as soul, disco, italo, synth pop, new wave, ebm, new beat, acid house, trance, detroit techno, cologne sound, idm, … and above all Sade & Depeche Mode, his reference bands.

The spirit & soul of those sounds somehow are present when he plays or produces music, resulting on a unique amalgam of apparently contradicted feelings & emotions, as darkness & sentiment, longing & happiness, electronics & warmness, subtlety & forcefulness, sophistication & effectiveness.

Since his dj debut in 1992, he has combined dj residences at Concor, Forum and Concuerda, with gigs at some of most relevant clubs in Barcelona area, as Lasal, Macarena or Otto Zutz, and has shared dj booth with many of most reputed djs and producers.

In 2020 Gonzalo Pérez debuts as music producer. Since then, he has been putting out music under two distinct aliases, Gonzalo and Smooth Revelator, his electronic pop project. Now in 2025, here is Gonzalo's third release, Flying into Ecstasy.
