Capybara Music returns with its second release, a project rooted in the sounds of Latin America—the birthplace of both the capybara and the artists featured on this EP.

The EP opens with two bright, energetic tracks from Guile (Argentina) and Francisco Fresen (Colombia). The mood then shifts with “Streets,” a deep, minimalist piece from the French-Argentinean duo Frits & Lang, marking their understated comeback. This track serves as the gateway to the darker, more introspective side of the EP.

On the B-side, Marcos Coya from Uruguay introduces a deep, trance-like acid house track, offering a hypnotic descent into more abstract territories. The EP closes with a stripped-back, powerful minimal tool from Brazilian trio André Arruda, Raf & Rod, leaving a subtle but lasting impact.

Berlin’s genre-blending powerhouse Dina Summer - comprised of Kalipo (also known from electro-punk outfit Frittenbude) and the dark disco duo Local Suicide - unleashed their second full-length album Girls Gang earlier this year via Iptamenos Discos.
Spanning 11 tracks, the record is a bold and versatile exploration of themes like empowerment, outsider identity, impermanence, nostalgia, and human connection. While their debut leaned heavily into club-ready sounds influenced by italo disco and ’90s electro, Girls Gang embraces a broader sonic spectrum, weaving in elements of new wave, post-punk, and synth pop.

Following a string of standout remixes from DJ Hell, Damon Jee, Phunkadelica, and The Populists, the trio returns with another round of reworks by a circle of befriended artists.

Among them, French DJ/producer and Elektric Bazaar co-founder Karla Lynch delivers a driving reinterpretation of Hypnotized. With pulsing basslines, hypnotic repetition, and stark Berlin-style vocals, her remix heightens the original’s tension - amplifying its themes of desire, seduction, and surrender with immersive intensity tailored for the darkest corners of the rave.

From the vibrant shores of Portugal to the pulsating heart of Berlin, Jepe has carved out a unique and captivating presence in the global electronic music scene.

Jepe's musical journey began in Aveiro, a coastal town near Porto, where he was drawn to the rhythmic energy of the ocean. At just 16 he had his own radio show, and by 19 he was already commanding the decks at one of the biggest clubs in his hometown. 

As one half of duo Johnwaynes, he made waves with releases on   Mulemusiq, Compost Records, Get Physical, and Cecille. And in 2013, Jepe embarked on a solo path, spanning top labels such as Diynamic, Moodmusic ++.
