In reality, it is curved —
like bananas tend to be, even in galleries.

This is not a banana aspiring to meaning.
It is a banana elevated by context, price tags and polite nods.
Take away the wall label, and it’s lunch.
Add one sentence of theory, and it’s art.

The title remains accurate.
Straight as a banana:
secured by convention, explained into importance,
and hanging just long enough
before someone mistakes irony for depth.
