Show Me Light(2025)⚡

Acclaimed Canadian broadcaster, musician, and media visionary Rob McConnell has announced the release of his latest single, "Still I Rise," a deeply moving and inspirational song that chronicles his decades-long journey living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Diagnosed in 1988, McConnell has faced a daily battle with symptoms including muscle weakness, chronic fatigue, loss of balance, nerve pain, and mobility challenges. But through it all, he has remained a force of creativity, resilience, and courage.

Written and engineered by McConnell, "Still I Rise" is more than just a personal story—it is a universal anthem of hope and determination. The song blends soulful instrumentation with heartfelt lyrics, capturing the emotional complexity of fighting an invisible illness while refusing to be defined or diminished by it. It speaks not only to those who live with MS but to anyone who has faced adversity and found the strength to stand tall.

"This song is my truth," said McConnell. "It’s about getting knocked down but never staying down. It’s about pain, yes—but it’s also about purpose, strength, and rising through it all."

"Still I Rise" is being released under the REL-MAR Music International (RMMI) label and will be available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. A music video and visual album experience are also in development to further expand the song’s reach and impact.
