François K - Tribute To José Padilla

My inspiration here was just "underwater", so I went the obvious route of reverb and muted piano, to give that feeling of being underwater. Fun fact: I used two pianos to keep the chords muted, but the melody clear. Also, I think the clarity of the bells and the muted piano create a wonderful contrast.
People say this ended up sounding like a modern gymnopedie, though I don't think Satie's famous works had bells...

His monthly NTS Radio show titled 'Acid Memories' has been humming away for a few years now, blessing us each month with a guaranteed psychedelic pleasure kick. If there was one online radio show that kept us sane throughout 202O, then 'Acid Memories' was definitely it. 

Franck has very kindly turned in a 90 minute mixtape full of his trademark psychedelic freaky folk rock selections, that will no doubt appeal to all & when quizzed about the mixtape he hinted, 'Astral Vibes sécrète beaucoup de fragrances psychédéliques, une sélection qui fait  l'effet d'une délicieuse drogue douce...Révolution Per Minutes".

'Apparition Floor' is a set of musikal responses to excerpts to Giorgio de Chirico’s wild metaphysical novel Hebdomeros. It follows the protagonist Hebdomeros' journey through an enigmatic, sullen landscape of doorways, columns, gas lamps and blind windows. The sounds map the weird architecture and wonky lay of the land.
