Dutch veteran producer Joost van der Vleuten, better known as Namatjira, delivers a crisp three-track EP on Paul Hazendonk's Manual Music imprint, under its MNL sub-label. This release marks another chapter in his long-standing dedication to the progressive house sound. 

Featuring three brand-new original compositions, 'Darien,' 'Distinctness,' and 'Chaco' , the EP showcases Namatjira's signature melodic depth and refined production, continuing his trusted tradition in the genre. It's a succinct yet compelling addition to the discography of one of progressive house's most steadfast artists.

The summer months always enable the Futureboogie label clan to recharge batteries (whenever possible), hit the festival circuit with aplomb, and pull out another Summer Riot EP, and, as ever, a team of the label’s favourite producers are assembled to deliver the goods.

Christophe leads the charge with the decidedly bleepy ‘Unity Vibez’, channelling the old school Sheffield sound through a myriad of breakbeats, floating keys, techno DX bass and spiralling melodies for a track that’s just as much in the present as it is in the past.

Already with two Futureboogie singles under his belt, Kiwi makes a sterling contribution to the seventh Summer Riot EP with ‘Abaco’. The electro tinged beats and rasping synth lead menacingly unfurl as a transcendental melody plays out over this distinctly potent track.

Neil Diablo completes the EP with the Italo driven ‘Shot Caller’; thick arpeggiated synths coil around beefed up drums as percussive elements get a good reverb soaking, intense and highly infectious stuff from Monsieur Diablo here!

Clandestino’s own Nick J. Smith breaks ranks for a solo outing on the label, setting hearts aflutter with three balmy kaleidoscopic cuts. Each track is forged in ideas from the classic dream house era between 1988-’91; evoking the halcyon period’s sense of hope and positivity yet presented in a modern lustre for today’s dance-floors.

‘You Make Me Feel’ has tight crisp drums to underpin heavenly keys, woozy pads and choral voice stabs. Breese fleshes out the classic house feels even further with his Frankie Knuckles style emotive piano-led groove. ‘Gets Me High’ takes a deeper path, with its infectious bell melodies and sparkling chords driving the spirit along. Clandestino jack the energy levels with their edgier, acid take. Racing drums set out a moodier atmosphere, the tension swelling and eventually popping as the originals stuttering keys are finally brought in.  ‘Can’t Stop’ closes out in a dreamy style; swirling pads and cool organ touches combine with a seductive vocal to trance you out. 
This is a package that chimes with longer days and warmers nights, as the darkness begins to fade and pastel coloured skies draw near.

Catz'N Dogz underground outlet STEP is well known for giving space to some of the most eclectic artists to showcase their infinite talents. The label so far has released the likes of Baltra, DJ Steaw, Eduardo De La Calle, Analogue Roland Orchestra and Panthera Krause to name but a few and this summer is ready to drop yet another huge record, coming from usual suspect Das Komplex.

The Polish producer already figures amongst the artists to have given music to STEP but his music is also showing up on DJ Harvey's' Mercury Rising' compilation, Oficyna Transatlantyk,Mireia Records and has been played by the likes of the late great Andrew Weatherall, Axel Boman and many more. 'Miazsz' EP comprises of 5 groove-driven, relentless down tempo and dreamy cuts, showcasing the wide musical knowledge and the diversely inspired aesthetic of Das Komplex' sonic textures. The EP takes us on a journey through genres, from House to Disco, and never fails to leave its mark.

Legendary Adriatic DJ and producer Verdo doesn't release often, but when he does you need to listen. He always has one foot on the dancefloor, while the other makes a leap into outer space.

Resident at the infamous Gratis Club in Senigallia, a skilled musician who brings virtuoso playing and someone with his own immediately identifiable sound, Verdo is a real hidden treasure. The Italian has
previously released on Danny Was A Drag King and also this label back in 2017, and mixes up anything from afro to acid, disco to downtempo in his grooves.

'Symmetry' kicks off in strident fashion, with throwback piano chords lighting up the airwaves as stomping drums make you move. It's the sound of an all out celebration of the sort we have all been missing recently. 
'Babbions' strikes a more tender note, with warm chords rising up through the cosmic arps and long legged drums. It's a twinkling track that glows bright and lifts your spirits no end.
'Procida' layers up more retro-future chords with bubbling melodies and star-gazing pads that will soundtrack sunsets by the sea in perfect fashion. 
"Second Trip' is a thoughtful track that sinks you into warm grooves, with shimmering keys that bring the romance. This one also comes as a bonus beatless version for lush ambient escapism and sentimental moments.
