-Boston Area storytelling.  Remember you are only a true artist if you recognize the genius in somebody's else's work. Keep your ears open there is genius all around us.

​TEMPLE OF THE MARTYRS was formed  in 2014. It began just like many other bands begin (a Jam among friends). Nuno Evaristo on guitar and vocals, Rick "Kado", drums, and Miguel "Guéu", on vocals. The plan wasn't to form a band, but rather to try to write a few cool songs. And see where that would lead us. All members of T.O.T.M. come from a METAL and THRASH METAL background. Musically speaking! Weird! no doubt. But gradually the songs were being written and the band was gaining form. It was as if we had played this kind of music for years. Which is not the case as mentioned before. Our compositions are by no means structured with specific formulas or musical styles in mind. It's all very spontaneous. We like to keep everything simple. Although there are many layers of sounds in our music!

In August of 2014 our first songs were recorded. The result was the (Ep) "As Coisas Que Se Perdem Pelo Caminho". Which in Portuguese means: "The Things That Are Lost Along The Way". That gave us the desire to present the band live. TEMPLE OF THE MARTYRS counts with the help of (Nélson, bass, and Vladas, guitar) for the live concerts. Although the band  primarily  consists of: Nuno Evaristo and Rick Kado. It is with great pleasure and joy that we present you this band that make us so happy and proud. We don't know if our music matters to anyone who hears it. Whether it is good or bad music. Nor do we know who decides such a thing. All we know for sure, is that we create and play the music we like to hear. PORTUGUESE or ENGLISH language. (whatever).Music with many influences and no barriers or trends attached.
