With new LP ‘Break The Wall’ freshly issued on BBE Music, MF Robots unleash brand new remixes of single ‘Gold’ by UK production hero Atjazz and Houston beatmaking duo Beanz N Kornbread.

Martin Iveson, aka Atjazz, is simply a mainstay of the UK scene, bringing electronic, jazz and deep house fans together in praise of his unique production aesthetic. His ‘Soul Love’ remix of ‘Gold’ shimmers with dreamy keys and lush subtle atmospherics.

Fresh from reworking Sons Of The Sun’s ‘Underwater Dreaming’ for BBE Music, Donald Johnson & Kenneth Roy, aka Beanz N Kornbread, return to the label with a lo-fi, warm and soulful ‘Nawfside’ remix of ‘Gold’. The Texas duo have gained notoriety writing and producing for Z-Ro, Paul Wall, Mac Miller, George Clinton, Slim Thug, Le$ and Snoop Dogg, in between Johnson’s hectic tour schedule as drummer for Khruangbin.

About MF Robots:
Collaborating for the first time while recording and performing with one of the UK’s most commercially successful Acid Jazz bands The
Brand New Heavies in 2013, founder / drummer Jan Kincaid and vocalist Dawn Joseph discovered immediate musical chemistry and began writing songs together right away.

They soon left the band to concentrate on their own work, starting MF Robots (Music For Robots) and releasing an eponymous debut in 2018. The duo quickly morphed into a band as they found themselves in-demand at venues and festivals all over Europe, and haven’t
looked back since.

House music veterans Evan Landes from Groove Junkies & Will ‘Reelsoul’ Rodriquez are no strangers to the game & have enjoyed global success for many years both individually and collectively. The two have penned, produced and remixed a slew of highly charted hits for their own imprints (most recently “We Rise” w/ Opolopo & Solara on MoreHouse & “2morrow” on Reelsoul Musik), as well as adding to the output for some of the biggest dance labels on the planet such as Defected, Quantize, Soulfuric, Nervous & Axtone to name a few.  

This time around the dynamic duo link up with LA based singer / songwriter Nichelle Monroe on an absolute stunner titled “My Truth.” The song, co-written by Evan & Nichelle, oozes with soul and is a perfect marriage with Reelsoul’s gorgeous keyboard work and Landes’ deft drum programming & arrangement. Nichelle’s immaculate vocals will make you wonder where the hell she’s been all these years! Although this is her 1st assault within the realm of House music, she has earned her stripes performing live for many years here in Los Angeles. She has performed and/or recorded with Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and Macy Gray to name a few.  

We are ecstatic about this release and welcome Nichelle to our extended fam with open arms. ENJOY!!
