I've posted this song twice before, so I should be done with it; I'm just not though. I keep developing the guitar (though it's all slight) and changing some lyrics. All about a lost friend; guess I'm not over it.

Seasons Make Sense -- Third Version

I got a new guitar the other day and when I played it, it had a crisp sound that made me come up with the funky opening riff without even thinking about it. Sometimes an instrument can just make me play something. :)
I played the driving guitar solo in one go on a friend's Les Paul. Again, I felt like I was just being made to play it.
I'm not good at keyboard solos, and I always struggle with them. (^_^;
It's been four months since I moved here after a job change, and I'd like to start playing in a band soon.

Do As You Please

This is a tune from my favorite LP from this band called "A Deeper Understanding". Again you may not recognize it if you know the band, as my interpretation fits my style on a 6 string acoustic. I really like this song and itis fun to sing and easy to play on the guitar.

"Thinking of a Place” marks a subtle, focused return from the War on Drugs. Stretching out across 11 minutes, it is less a reintroduction than a reimmersion into Adam Granduciel’s spectral Americana. Nearly every aspect of the song is tenuous, either disappearing or located just beyond our grasp. Granduciel sings, “Love is like a ghost in the distance out of reach.” He warns us, “There’s a darkness over there/But we ain’t going.” He laments a lover who “vanished in the night” while he gazes at the Missouri River. The music shifts between ambient passages of synth and fuzzed-out guitar solos, neither building in intensity nor losing momentum. Instead, Granduciel sounds locked in perpetual motion, sometimes slowing down to observe his surroundings, and sometimes pushing forward and just letting it blur outside the window.

Si les plus beaux paysages sont au-dessus de la ligne d’horizon chaque continent a son génie du ciel ....  Le ciel change chaque jour et imprime d’imperceptibles nuances grâce à ses nuages aux mille et une formes. Tout ciel nuageux en forme de gaze longiforme donnent cette « mélancolique lessive d’or du couchant » dont parlait si bien Rimbaud .... La fin d'été approche et nous pouvons observer maintenant un ciel plein de gros nuages blancs et aux nuances de gris, bourgeonnants, rembourrés, cotonneux, mais aussi lumineux comme des lampes au reflets lactescent …. 
J'ai essayé d'être représentatif de ce phénomène avec les nuances harmoniques de ce concept ….

The sky changes every day and prints imperceptible nuances thanks to its clouds with a thousand and one shape. All cloudy sky in the shape of a long gauze give this "melancholic laundry of the sunset" of which Rimbaud spoke so well .... The end of summer is approaching and we can now observe a sky full of large white clouds and shades of gray, budding, padded, cottony, but also luminous like lamps with lactscent reflections …. I tried to be representative of this phenomenon with the harmonic nuances of this concept ....

Towards The Clouds ....

I finish a lot of my poems and say to myself... Carl you can't share that... That's the moment I transmute all that weak assed fear and say... Now I have to!

Fuck FEAR and be LOVE. Doing that we truly honour our feelings and they don't become oppressed. I would hazard a guess they become a physical bad energy for us when we oppress our true hearts feelings and possibly build up to become a detriment to our beings.

There is way too much real feeling being oppressed by our collective at the moment. Not mine thank you very much. There is too much at stake to not start feeling this world properly!
