More M1 practice. I ended up liking this better than the original! Unfortunately, I lost a lot of what I used to build said original, and as such, the intro is a touch janky.  Anyway this is ECO stuff, so if the lore interests you, read on, I guess. :V   
I wanted to do a better job of using this song to convey the landscape of Dascillia, as well as the type of place it is. Celestion is a place bathed in antiquity, but Dascillia is more modern. Telegraph lines and train tracks slice through the landscape, along with wagon trails and other signs of technology.  In some places, smoke from factories blocks out the sun. Farmland is scarce, but what fertile land there is, is covered in farms and ranches. Dascillia is a country at war, but it's so vast that away from the battlefield, all one can usually hear is the wind.

This is one of the tunes from the second book of ECO I've had in mind for a while. Since I'm still knee-deep in the first one, but wotev. :V
Anyway, one of the groups in the second book travels through Bajandrus and northern Kerlynzia, so I got to finally stretch my wild west muscles again. :3 
I've been binge-playing Wild Arms: Alter Code F. Had this song and its rhythm stuck in my head for the entire drive from California to Washington State, where I now reside.  The rhythm actually matches the license plate of the vehicle we used on the drive. >_>; Inspiration is weird.

fun fact: this is one of my few 8-bit covers to use 2a03, because its such a simple song. really like how it came out, i think i did a good job making doing what i can out of a short loop.

I've taken a less purist approach this time around (compared to 4000AD) and just had some fun.

Night Crew

The lone piece I made for the Professor K Takeover! I sadly didn't have the time to make any more being I was looking forward to this event, but I'm glad I made this.

If you didn't know, this track actually samples two Twenty One Pilots songs from my favorite album "Vessel", which are "Car Radio" and "Holding On To You" respectfully. 

I questioned at first if using Twenty One Pilots songs were going to work for a JSR song, but judging by the reception I received on Twitter about it being I missed it repeatedly during the stream, I'd say I did pretty good.

I'm planning some time in the future to make more like this for my own album to compensate, so stay tuned!

Seriously though I got hooked on this game recently, definitely a hidden gem on the PS2. Underrated game with an underrated soundtrack.
