Grimlynn born Darren Hinckley, was birthed on Hilltop in Tacoma Washington and raised in the south end of Seattle losing both of his parents at the age of 3 he was raised by the state in the foster care system undergoing a life transforming journey. His music speaks of the trauma and pain endured throughout his grim life hence the name Grimlynn. Much like the classic movie Gremlins, as a young boy, he grew and evolved into a troublesome teen doing over 6 years of his life incarcerated and battling life in the streets. A unique perspective and personality, a breath of fresh air with his ability to paint pictures with words from real life experiences.
