Kannst du dich kurz vorstellen?
Gefangen Intrance aka Toko, Abkürzung für seinen bürgerlichen Namen Torsten Koths, fing in seiner frühen Kindheit schon an Kassetten zu sammeln und wechselte später zum Vinyl. Was im Elternhaus mit Kellerpartys anfing, entwickelte sich im erwachsenen Alter zum Auflegen in der NRW Clubscene wie auch im angesagten Poison Club am Düsseldorfer HBF. Am meisten geprägt wurde er durch die New Wave Zeit und dem damaligen Scene Club Tribehouse in Neuss. Diese Zeit erlebte er mit einem seiner besten Freunde. Zusammen in der Clubscene unterwegs waren Sie gefangen in der Musik und in Trance versetzt. Nachdem sein Freund 2010 verstarb entschied sich Toko seinen Namen in Gefangen Intrance zu ändern. Da es ein großer Wunsch der beiden war gemeinsam Musik zu machen entschied sich Toko für eine grundsätzliche Veränderung und rief die Seite Gefangen Intrance ins Leben. Seine Leidenschaft und Hingabe zur Musik ist heute größer denn je. Mit jedem einzelnen Set möchte er uns eine Geschichte erzählen und uns auf eine Reise mitnehmen durch Raum und Zeit.

We welcome Brenden Dowden a.k.a Dowden for the seventy-fourth edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series. 

Dowden hails from Toronto, Canada, and is based in Berlin, Germany. Having gained early experience in several bands as both a guitarist and vocalist during his formative years, his musical trajectory took a decisive turn upon his discovery of electronic sounds fifteen years ago. Since then, he has traversed through a multitude of genres until finding his true calling in Progressive House.

In 2022, Dowden established himself as one of the highest-selling Progressive House artists in the Top 100 on Beatport. With constant support from radio and club circuits and a string of chart-topping releases, Dowden swiftly ascended to become a staple name in Deep Progressive House. Dowden's significant influence on the Deep Progressive Music scene extends beyond his chart successes. His passionate followers on his YouTube channel, where he shares insightful tutorials on music production, have further solidified his status as a guiding light for aspiring producers. Through his educational content, Dowden has cultivated a devoted fan base, eager to learn from his expertise and engage with his music on a deeper level. Goos’ podcast, Journey, has been running for over six years, showcasing the finest in deep and organic house. He also hosts a weekly residency on Pure Ibiza Radio UAE (94.7 FM) with his show Journey on Air, continuing to captivate audiences with his distinct blend of sounds.

In 2018, Goos launched his own showcase, Journey on Tour, at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), presenting artists from around the globe and expanding the series across India. Over the years, he has shared the stage with a stellar lineup of international acts, including Acid Pauli, Viken Arman, Julian Jeweil, Olivier Giacomotto, Denis Horvat, Toto Chiavetta, Lane 8, Yotto, Ben Böhmer, Tinlicker, Kora, Eelke Kleijn, Sebastien Leger, and many others. He has also performed at major festivals like Echoes of Earth, Satellite Beachside, and Go:Madras, alongside local and international talent.

Goos’s rising profile was recognized by Pioneer DJ, which named him one of the top ten emerging DJs worldwide for their Kuvo service. His music has been featured on prestigious platforms, including British Airways and Emirates Inflight Entertainment, Café Mambo Ibiza Radio, Everything Will Be OK (UK), Zenebona Radio, and The Deep Room.

Born in Doha, Qatar, Goos was raised in a musically rich environment, thanks to his parents, who introduced him to rock legends like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, and Pink Floyd. This early exposure sparked a deep love for music, leading him to explore percussion instruments. His journey began with the Mridangam and expanded into drumming, giving him a profound understanding of rhythm. His passion for dance music was ignited by the sounds of Eric Prydz and Roger Sanchez, setting the stage for his career in electronic music.


Driven by a love for storytelling through music, Goos continues to push the boundaries of deep and organic house, creating a space where rhythm and emotion meet in perfect harmony.
