These tracks are quite old, most of them were written around 2017 - way before I "knew" how to produce music. They're the result of a love for twisted sounds, tenacious experimentation and a burning desire to explore the world within.

At the time I was living deep in the countryside of Småland - far from the blinding streetlights and deafening noise of the city. My days were spent reading, cooking, exploring the nature nearby and making music. My (geographically) nearest friends were the sheep next to my house, the birds in the trees and the mushrooms in the ground.

Today I'm happy to have left this place, to once again live among the humans. In the end we are not meant to be alone. But I'll never forget those moments - the silence, the birds breaking it in the morning light and the frost decorating each pinecone as I walked through the forest after another sleepless night.

Now, after many years, these tracks are ready to be shared in their full form, and I couldn't be happier doing it on my birthday. I am truly grateful for all your support allowing me to pursue my dream and keep spreading the music.

Gooutonahinote is the expression of Edvin Bärtås, born and raised in the region of Småland, Sweden. Throughout his life he has always been creating music, eagerly diving into the creative realms searching for different ways to express the magic he saw around him. After many years of exploring and refining this process, the Gooutonahinote-project grew forth.

Drawing inspiration from his life, dreams and surroundings, he crafts stories to guide you into a hidden world - telling tales of a clairvoyant experience where the impossible is made possible, dream come true, imagination and reality is one.
