Beginning his journey into sound in Bergen, Norway some 10+ years ago before moving to the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong and finally landing in Melbourne in 2018, Glenn’s own sound and worldly curiosities connect people to beautiful moments in time through years of listening, digging and mixing throughout Norway, NYC, Hong Kong and Japan. It’s with real joy that we’re able to hand it over to Glenn for a taste of the Hot Wax sound, and chat about his journey into the crazy world of soundsystems. Fire up the home Hi-Fi and settle in for the ride!

Each appearance marks an invitation made to someone we hold dear because their art conveys such power and meaning that have a specific and special place in this series, as well as their music has in our minds, bodies and hearts. So, regardless of their renown or following, they are all very welcome and their presence is deeply appreciated and cherished. Still, some puts us in awe, not for what they did, but for what they keep on doing so passionately as this one we are very glad to present here. A DJ for the dancers and from the dancers who, as it is expected, deploys rhythms with our bodies in his mind and delivers moods with our souls in his heart. Joey Anderson does that with the simplicity and generosity of those rare talents who seems and feels himself more as a part of a community of music lovers than a personality among thrill seekers.
