A collection of house music from Melbourne. Written from 2020-21, mostly in the midst of lots of lockdowns - some funner than others. A weird year for all. I enjoyed the time i had to make tunes, but missed the clubs, dancefloors & kick on's that a lot of my music is influenced by. I still managed to scratch the itch when i needed to. Inspiried by Melbourne, lockdown parties, good friends, good music, good records, good mixes and good times. I wanted to push a few different things with this release, namely working with some other artists: rapper - Nelson Dialect & saxphonist - Lochie Thompson. Then on the B-side a slightly more tech-ier sound than my usual output. Big thanks to Nelson, Lochie, Corey Kikos for mastering and Zenith Records in Brunswick for pressing it. A percentage of the profits made will be donated to Children's Ground

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere the Curses 'Psycho' Remix of Roe Deers' "Never Ending". Last November, Roe Deers' released, Salt Town Boy, his debut album which was fueled by dusky moods and punk attitude. Following that up is  Salt Town Boy Remixes, a stellar companion which brings together four great producers who reimagine different selections off the album. Today we bring you this killer "Never Ending 'Psycho' remix" from the one and one only Curses.

Marco Lazovic has been burning up dancefloors for over four years with his potent blend of house grooves and feisty jungle breakbeats, and so it continues on this new drop for Craft Music. "Dance System" is predominantly shaped out by gorgeous Detroit-inspired synths, but there's also some seriously spicy breaks choppage going off throughout the track. "The Dredwerkz" is a tight and punchy electro jam with plenty of melodic delights fluttering around the 808 drums, while "Daydreaming" gets further up the tempo range to outright ambient jungle a la early Good Looking. "End Theme" stays in jungle mode for an acute exercise in classic rollage.
