DJ, producer, remixer, record label boss… Jesus Pablo wears many hats. What's more, as well as juggling his many musical commitments, he's also trying to forge a career as a fashion designer, marking out the 36-year-old Liverpudlian with the Spanish-sounding alias – in real life he's known as Paul Morgan – as a truly creative individual.

Which no doubt goes some way to explaining how he's managed to build up such an impressive discography, despite having been in the production game for a relatively short time. Not that he's any stranger to the house scene in general: he started DJing around his home town at the tender age of 16, playing “house and piano classics on a Sunday night in his local”.

In fact, Paul/Jesus is refreshingly honest about his early influences. “Everyone always says they grew up with their Dad's soul, funk and jazz records,” he says. “But my Dad was a big Beatles, Doris Day and Billy Fury fan, so my taste for house music certainly didn't come from there!” Instead, he says, it was Baby D's 'Let Me Be Your Fantasy' that first caught his ear, back when he was still in junior school (bless). Soon he was immersing himself in his mates' older brothers' Quadrant Park mixtapes and buying Cream and Ministry CDs – he still cites local Liverpudlian legend Paul Bleasdale as a major influence – and from there, he inexorably found his way to the deeper, more soulful house sounds of Kerri Chandler, Masters At Work et al.

Today, Jesus Pablo is a distinctive and very contemporary sound that fuses deep house and techno flavas, with his many productions, remixes and collaborations appearing on some of the most respected labels in the house/deep house game, including Deeper Shades Recordings, i! Records, Lost My Dog, Viva Recordings, Bulletdodge Records, Savoir Faire Musique, Headset Recordings, What Happens and many more.

As a DJ, he's been in the game for 20 years and already made his mark on the international circuit over the last 10 years. He's played in South Africa multiple times and undertaken a month-long tour of the USA and Mexico in 2011, he's also racked up gigs in Germany, Georgia, Poland, Norway and Denmark, as well as manning the decks at a host of underground clubs across the UK – always sticking to his key philosophy: “Music should make you dance, smile and think all at the same time, so that's what I intend to do.”

Back in 2011 he launched Something Different Records, a record label that's already picking up mucho plaudits from those in the knowm, as well as some huge support from the likes of Marco Carola, Nic Fanciulli, Pete Tong, Joris Voorn, Sasha, Crazy P, Tensnake and Nick Warren over the last 5 years. He expanded his label group by launching Something Different Again (a moodier and darker side to house and techno), Something Else (pushing that 90's garage, house and techno era) and Different Attitudes (pushing quality music thats not for following trends, but setting them), all main labels in their own right and already speading their love house and techno to the sets of many worldwide. 

Fast building a reputation as one of the industry's hardest working, Jesus Pablo is clear about his aims – he's in this for the long haul. Hell, he's been at it 20 years already, why stop now? He'll keep on spreading the love of quality underground dance music wherever he goes… and this is one up-and-coming talent who truly IS going places, have no doubt!

Individually and as part of a duo, Matrix & Futurebound have decades worth of experience in shaping the drum & bass landscape. Brendan Collins and Jamie Quinn possess one of the most impressive track records in the genre's history, boasting one hundred million combined streams, one critically acclaimed album 'Universal Truth' and multiple consecutive Top 40 UK records. Their expert song writing can be seen through cuts such as 'All I Know', 'Magnetic Eyes' alongside Baby Blue, 'Don't Look Back' ft. Tanya Lacey and the legendary silver certified 'Control' with Max Marshall, which reached number seven on the UK's Top 40 singles chart whilst representing their fourth consecutive track to be playlisted on BBC Radio 1. Matrix & Futurebound are set to capitalise on this success for 2019- their forthcoming second studio LP 'Mystery Machine' is a testament to the legacy which they've built throughout their career, as they've become one of the most influential figures for a colossal dance music export. 
2005 was the year which led to the collaborative project between Matrix & Futurebound; 'Strength to Strength' was a pivotal moment for both artists, who were already prolific through their individual pseudonyms and it's a relationship which soon developed with exciting results. Their debut album 'Universal Truth' in 2007, jointly released on Matrix's Metro Recordings and Futurebound's Viper Recordings, signified the beginning of their joint alias. With Futurebound already having a powerful stake in the Liverpudlian bass scene and with London-based Matrix becoming a staple in DJ sets across the city's major club spaces, they had laid the foundations to launch a critical production team. 
Since then, the pair have gone on to cross over the divide between the underground world of drum & bass and mainstream commercial achievements, with their music translating to both intimate clubs spaces and global festival audiences. 2018 saw the first steps towards 'Mystery Machine', with title track 'Mystery Machine', 'Tardis', 'Live Another Day' and 'Believe' signalling the dancefloor viability of their next historic addition to an already impressive back catalogue. Having debuted many of its ground-breaking new records on stages at EDC, UKF Buenos Aires, Reading & Leeds, Glastonbury, Creamfields, Exit Festival, Let it Roll and due to showcase their album at the first of their 'Matrix & Futurebound Presents' nights at XOYO, they helped define the year's taste making tracks. 
But it's not just their standalone tracks which have caught the ears of fans and trend setters alike; as two of the biggest drum & bass figures, they've also remixed the likes of Emeli Sande, Pendulum, Eric Prydz, Jess Glynne, Demi Lovato, Labrinth, Birdy, Tinie Tempah plus many more names of the same stature. Their Emeli Sande rework was one of the vocal drum & bass anthems of the year gaining huge support from daytime Radio 1, making its way into the A list and with extensive specialist play from Annie Mac. This culminated in a highly successful Live Lounge appearance where the duo performed 'Breathing Underwater' with Emeli at Maida Vale, with their remix closing the London NYE fireworks.
Their next single 'Got You There', penned by esteemed songwriter Becky Hill and featuring alt-pop newcomer Zelah on vocals, begins the New Year with a slab of stunning musicality. Released through Viper / Metro Recordings, the emotionally charged anthem received three consecutive weeks of Radio 1 support on Mistajam's Dance Anthems slot, as well as being featured on the Spotify UK and US New Music Friday playlist. It was a hugely successful offering from Matrix & Futurebound and it's another chapter which brings listeners closer to the reveal of 'Mystery Machine'.

THE DEADSTOCK 33'S
  ‘A kind of rural backwater psychedelia’ is how the Deadstock 33 describe themselves. From the restless and productive mind of Justin Robertson, it’s as good an entry point as any to a world both bewitching and new.
  A year in the making, Deadstock 33’s debut album takes a real breadth of sounds and influences weaving them together into a live sound that sees  Justin heading off into uncharted sonic waters.
   Justin Robertson is no stranger to live music having played tours and festival with his band Lionrock and pop art renegades Thee Earls. With Deadstock 33 however he’s turned  the club elements that he’s best known for into a dynamic sound steeped in a stranger, timeless vibe - like Arthur Russell producing the fractured fragility of third album Big Star.
  Over ten tracks the result is a record of hopped-up murder ballads with a slightly Balearic feel that crosses swords with slow motion grooves that forge a link between the acid of both San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury and Chicago’s Trax. 
  “I’ve met a lot of people over the years touring with bands,” explains Justin. “And I’ve been making music long enough to put aside any notion of genre or fashion. The Deadstock 33's has been in my head for a long time but only ever in the abstract until now. Working on this album has transformed the way I write and given me the opportunity to head off into jaunty Balearic pop as well some darker musical spaces. I’m really pleased with whats been achieved so far.”
  Lyrically the Deadstock 33's explores a similarly unique territory. From tales of the to MPs frolicking on Hampstead Heath,to a church going couple who spend  their sunday's despatching parishioners in the woods, it’s the dark stuff make no mistake,but There are also chinks of light in the dark; with life affirming psychedelic pop and good time acid disco stirred into the blend.  What unites all the songs however is an urge to get under the skin of society and shine a flashlight on what is found, turning the evidence back into a remarkable musical document that mirrors our weird wide world.
