EXE Project is pleased to welcome Shattering Palms onto the label. Hailing from Denver and formerly known as Survivor Street, Shattering Palms heralds a new era in his music production, with rhythmic, earth-shattering drum grooves combined with deep, ribcage rattling basslines. His production combines industrial techstep drum & bass with hypnotic techno rhythm to lock you in—each piece its own unique take on a harnessed production technique.

‘Snarehammer’, the title track from the EP, is a relentless 4x4 style assault with a twist, using the snare rather than the kick to lead the way with excellent use of percussion to take you out and just as quickly bring you back in. ‘War Drums’ is one of the deeper, moodier takes on the EP, sharp stabs of synth work and deep bass complimenting the perfectly executed drum groove. ‘Renegade’ is a military march into deep, foreboding territory. The bass pattern hits you hard while the drums lurk menacingly alongside. ‘Panic Guaranteed’ marks an epic climax to the EP, the intro building a great sense of tension before the drop is unleashed in a calculated barrage of heavy beats and frequency filling bass.

EXE-D007 is another excellent addition to the EXE Project catalogue, adding to the stable with a range of stellar drum and bass productions, which have already proven to have maximum impact on the dance floor.
