We start our journey with the first EP  tilted "Blood For Fun" featuring one of the most prolific and creative artist on the Iberian drum & bass, who perfectly captures the essence and concept of the label, both musically and personally: TAREK

Influenced by doom, stoner metal and 2000s techstep sound, Tarek is known as a very active producer from Madrid, especially in the recent years, in which we have been able to hear his dark and deep sound on many of the most important drum and bass and electronic labels in the Spanish state, such as Nightcode, Anticlockwise, Ketapasando or Antistatik, among others, at the same time he 've been releasing some self edited stuff on Bandcamp.

For our first release, he bring us this mixture of raw crunchy basslines and complex drum programming skills across 3 tracks on 135 to 174 bpms: From the techy-halftime beat of "Blood For Fun" to the agressiveness and growling basslines of "Gladius", passing through the dark garage heaviness of  "Secutor", to compelte a full deadly weapon ready to destroy the dancefloor.

The U.K.-based producer returns to the imprint and delivers a beautiful set of Liquid compositions that show off his keen song-writing ability.  Dan Guidance continues to build an impressive catalogue of songs, and the “Instant Connection EP” is another journey into his creative world.  

The release kicks off with the hypnotic sounds of the title track, “Instant Connection.”  The song is highlighted by steady ticking drums, warping keys, edgy mid-basslines, and a mesmorizing backdrop os synth pads and strings. “Fuzzy Buzz,” is up next and drifts along with its warm piano chords, crunchy drums, rolling sub-bassline, and ethereal vocals.  “Find Me,” is up next and captures a more dance floor vibe with its reese baseline, epic vocals, drenched backdrop, and stripped down drum pattern.  Dan Guidance lays down the wicked Liquid/Jungle vibes in the track, “This is the Last Time.”  The track blends wandering horn riffs, echoing vocals, and a warm sub-baseline, falling underneath a choppy Jungle break.  “When There’s Soul,” rounds things out in style with its echoing piano keys, airy pads, snappy drums, and bouncing bassline.  Dan Guidance continues to make a name for himself in the production scene.  The Instant Connection EP will further expose the listeners to the magical production skills that he possesses. Parallax explores the shifting boundary between human intuition and algorithmic logic, a space where two perspectives converge and blur until the center is lost. Composed through a hybrid system of voltage-controlled hardware and digital manipulation, the five tracks apply FM synthesis, granular processing, and bit-level degradation to rigid electro structures. Sequences are shaped by modulation instability and clock drift, gradually disrupting pattern integrity and simulating a loss of systemic control. Precise yet disrupted grooves hint at a deeper malfunction, as if something is corrupting the system from within. Parallax is the gap between the human who creates and the algorithm that imitates.
