In today’s music people crave an artist who can motivate them but also be connectable.  The idea of being “real” has become key and though some don’t seek to relate that has become a priority of another. Born in Frankfurt, Germany on January 9, 1986 as Robert E. McDonald to Robert and Estelle, International Rob B has been creating music since his early teenage years. Though it could be assumed his birth place created his name, it’s much deeper from his heart than that. As a youth Rob B’s mother lovingly called him “Robby” which is where that stems, in turn paying homage to her. Him being titled as ‘International’ is because of the freedom in his music. Despite his Floridian upbringing, Rob B looks for his work to be relatable worldwide. Tying into that goal he always writes about the reality of his life. Being aware that people often can’t connect to the rich lifestyles. International Rob B makes it a point to delivery music that is transparent and down to earth. Being a hard worker, and family man reaching for his dreams he conveys that to inspire others to push forward no matter where they are.
