Formed in 2009, Go Tiger Go combines a blend of sun-kissed indie rock with a grittiness that stems from its Detroit roots. GTG draws influence from bands like The Black Keys and The Von Bondies, while channeling today's underground indie stars like Oberhofer, Andrew McMahon and Walk The Moon. Combined with an energy filled live show and a contagious fun, GTG simply wants to put on a show where both they and their fans can have fun and vibe out to some good music. Their music has been featured on 88.5 KCSN with Julie Slater, and Andrew McMahon’s (Something Corporate, Jack’s Mannequin) “Best Of” playlist. They have been featured by The CW, The Detroit Free Press, The Detroit News, Nerdist, Nooga, Wordkrapht, DeepCutz, Faronheit, 88.7, and in Hip In Detroit.
