The Smalltown sound is fun bass-heavy house music, combining the spirit of Canada's outdoor electronic music festivals such as Shambhala & Bass Coast, with the sound they cultivated at the legendary Hifi Club in Calgary (which they owned and operated). In 2025 they are releasing music on DirtyBird, Rules Don't Apply, Box of Cats and more.  

They've played shows across the globe including Fabric in London & U-Hall in DC, and Bestival in Toronto. With highlights that include appearances on Diplo & Claude Vonstroke's radio shows, a one-year stint in Las Vegas, the yearly Mountain Magic Tour with Christian Martin (of Dirtybird) and friends, and their collaboration with Shad & Wax Romeo "Boom Ha" being featured in the HBO show "Girls". 

In 2025 they have a ton of new music on the way!

BOGL  is a man of mystery, DJ and music enthusiast originally from Las Vegas, NV. With his parties, Soundpieces, Bogl has been able to host and play alongside current left-field artists from around the world in San Francisco and beyond for years. His charisma is like that of a friendly ghost; he is kept close to your heart as one would a godfather, while basically existing as an untouchable phenomenon. He’s become known for appearing out of what seems like thin air to play an eclectic selection of bass heavy productions, take you to an unfathomable dimension, then suddenly vanishing to another far off place. It make us wonder how it’s even possible for Bogl to exist. 

His career has taken him literally all over the globe touring alongside artists such as Diplo and Truth, he’s been a resident at  Symbiosis Gathering and performing Outlook, Shambhala, and BassCoast festival several times among others, and makes frequent stops anywhere from Asia, to Europe, to Canada. With his career as a DJ nearing ten years, Bogl is moving forward to release secret production projects with fellow bass music artists, while leading the rapid expansion of Soundpieces that already has a long-term established legacy of blowing minds with their “good fortune” music experiences.

Rockie Fresh moves with a futuristic cool that has made him one of Chicago’s most versatile voices. He first broke out with a run of acclaimed mixtapes before rising to international attention through Maybach Music Group’s Electric Highway and Self Made Vol. 3, working alongside Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Nipsey Hussle, and Curren$y.

His range as an artist has taken him even further, collaborating with J. Cole, Wale, Wiz Khalifa, Good Charlotte, Ed Sheeran, and Chris Brown, whose feature on “Must Be” gave Rockie his first Billboard-charting single.
