A mix selection by Ru Robinson for our pedal-powered party platform Son Caméléon. This giant chameleon devised and built by Tangleface Arts, provided tropical beats, wide smiles, interactive games and wobbly dance moves to five different UK music festivals in the Summer of 2014. The project is a merry gathering of visual art, mobile stage design, performance and audio wizardry. Throughout the 2014 tour it hosted 5 specially selected bands and 6 guest DJs alongside the residential chameleon sound makers.

Waggles 'Vs' Ru Robinson Live at Thekla, Bristol

Over the years of DJing and crate digging, I have built up a vast amount of various styles of music that just won't get played out in my usual sets. I am going to attempt to make a mix every weekend for this series, exploring the depths of my crates and giving great music a chance to be heard and letting some forgotten tracks see the light of day! 
I have started with an hour and a half of vibing downtempo tunes. 
I am also streaming these mixes live through my FB page if you want to watch. All of these mixes are completely unrehearsed and live. Enjoy!

Waggles and Ru Robinson go back to back, two for two, live at The Jam Jar in Bristol for Jubba's fundraising event in support of Aid Box Community. 

Aid Box Community provides support, supplies and sanctuary to Bristol’s most vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers.

Many of their service users live on just five pounds a day and can be extremely isolated. Their welcome Hub is a safe space where people can come to be part of our community, for a chat and a cuppa, or just to escape isolation and build friendships. They also have a Free Shop where they provide a choice of free, quality items donated by the public - from clothing, toiletries and toys, to electrical items.

ABC provides hope and love, and helps to make people’s lives a little bit more comfortable.
