Izzy Wise makes a return to the Lips & Rhythm family with another sultry 7" EP expanding upon his love for so-called world music and expertise in heavy grooves. This EP arrives after his self-imposed isolation in the jungles of Nicaragua during 2020 and features two pure melodic jams we just had to share with you.

The title track 'Night Swim' has a long and enchanting flute lead that will take you upriver for a moonlight rendezvous. On the B-side longtime collaborator La Kata returns to lend her flowing Spanish vocals on the rhythmic number 'Semillita.' Izzy Wise once again transcends musical boundaries with this warm and stellar release. Dig it!

From the Shaft-in-outer-space drama of “Son of the Sun,” to the proto-balearic lilt of “Jungle Melody” to the big band funk of “Fool Like A Child,” Arsenii demonstrates his skill at digging through and slicing up his ample record collection. A pretty yellow 10” with a classic jazz library label design rounds this one out nicely!

Some might remember The Planty Herbs from his earlier 7” outing on RNT, and now the dynamic Dutchman brings his dusty vibes to a 4-track EP of crafty edit selections. “Famyly” kicks of the pack with a bouncy funk groove, followed by “Errybodydisco,” a low-slung house party affair. On the flip we have the flute solo and sample-heavy Soundstream-esque stomper “Today,” while “What’s Inside” takes us back to the soul side with a boom-bappity cover of a 70s R&B classic.
