Blending organic sounds and traditional instruments with electronic textures and trippy synth lines, this eclectic release spans from downtempo electronica to atmospheric deep house with a melodic groove.

Each year Sabo collects the finest tracks he can find from across the world and releases them on the day of the summer solstice, which is the year’s longest day of sunlight.

With a tight knit family built around the label, Summer Sol is also a welcoming party for many of the artists who are joining the community. Those making their Sol Selectas debut this year includes the likes of DJ Chus, Balam, La Payara, The Scumfrog, KÖNI, and Depart.

It also welcomes back familiar faces such as Dandara, Amine K, Giovanny Aparacio, Mula, Amentia, Chambord and Sabo himself as the party host.

Under the sun's rays we are all equal, regardless of skin colour, gender or sexuality, and this release is a celebration of the music that overcomes diversity to bring people together.

Each of the tracks have their own story and is a little ray of sunshine to warm the mind, body and soul. This year’s release features tracks with roots in Mexico, USA, Spain, Mali, Turkey, Colombia, France, Argentina, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Morocco, Ukraine, Chile, Netherlands, UAE, Switzerland, Belgium, Hungary, Armenia, and Australia.

Separately each of the artists on this EP has featured on other labels such as Get Physical, Bar 25 Music, Akbal Music, Cosmic Awakenings, Pipe & Pochet, Magician On Duty, A Tribe Called Kotori, 3000 Grad Records and many others of equal note.

The music drifts from coast to coast, across several mountain ranges, deserts dunes, and salty oceans, spanning years of generational influences. We're thrilled to present Camel Riders' brand new release titled Tutiman' feat. Balkan Witch by the one and only, our label boss - Laroz, incl. remixes by Spaniol, Watt The Fox, Vooz Brothers. The Tel-Aviv based producer Laroz, displays in Tutiman' his top-notch futuristic sound signature fused with traditional folk, creating a powerful warm tale that leaves no choice to the listeners but to bounce, dance and dream awake. This splendid track can be mainly characterised by an elegant, powerful and driving bass-line that meets intoxicating synth melodies, a sweet bass, and extremely pleasurable percussions which frame the trippy-ritualistic Bulgarian vocals of Maayan Tzafrir aka Balkan Witch. On remix duty, 1st we have the honor to welcome one of our favorite producers, the iconic Brazilian artist - Spaniol with his exquisite interpretation for Tutiman. In his remix, Spaniol exhibits a splendid mixture of Organic House and Micro House music, creating a fascinating and warm journey with the use of abundant percussions, deep synth riffs, and a rounded base-line, while keeping the original's trippy vocals. Coming up next we have the pleasure to welcome to Camel Riders straight from Paris, Watt The Fox - with their powerful and psychedelic remix. In their interpretation, the French live electronic duo display a powerful and very captivating version, full of organic elements and psychedelic sounds, synth riffs full of acid creating a sophisticated fusion between organic traditional music and futuristic electronica that will transport you to outer space. Last but not least we are thrilled to welcome the Tel-Aviv based Vooz brothers, with their Deep House-ish pumping version of Tutiman. In their remix, you can feel a darkish vibe which collides with warm and hypnotic synth riffs and melodies, a fat rough bass and lots of driving percussion, creating a profound fresh tale, designated for peak time hours.

For our first release of 2022 Sol Selectas is proud to present the 3rd volume of our highly acclaimed Global Entry series. This compilation features 11 original songs, and explores genres like minimal, deep tech, and indie dance. Each song tells its own psychedelic story, fusing ethnic elements along with hints of disco, dub, and techno. 

We welcome 2 new female producers to the label, with “Canim” from Ece Ekran of Turkey, and “ Queen Wand” by Deenara from the Ukraine. Making their debut on Sol Selectas, we have Daschund and Quenum for the first time with “Reverse”, Clay Lio from Egypt with “La Terre Perle”, and Memo Rex from San Diego with “Tangible”.

The compilation also features music from well known Sol Selectas artists Derun, Namito, Hot Oasis, Golan Zocher & Choopie, Guy Mayaan, and KONI. 

Helia’s artwork takes us beyond time and space as we travel through the cosmic portal of music, the Global pathway to a higher consciousness.

Sabo returns to his record label Sol Selectas with the 2nd part of his collaborative studio album titled “Buddy System”. It features new remixes by artists including DJ T., DJ Chus, Derun, Laroz & T-Pulse, Abel Ray, Guy Mayaan, Inigo Vontier, Mula FR, Zuma Dionys and Nutia.

“Buddy System” came out in 2020, and featured eight original tracks. Each track saw Sabo team up with a different producer from around the globe, and the release featured collaborations with Dandara, Hot Oasis, Namito, UNER, Saint Flip, Noema, Metrika and SidiRum.

This new release breathes fresh life into a classic release that fuses electronic sounds and melodies influenced by cultures from around the world with indigenous rhythms of organic percussion. Sabo is a globetrotting DJ who has compiled 25 years of collecting music into his own productions, and Buddy System blends that with the influence of other artists and friends who he has met on his travels.

Many of the original tracks on this release charted inside the sales charts of websites such as Beatport, and often the original versions are still played to packed dance floors at festivals and nightclubs across the world.

Long time fans of Sol Selectas will recognise many of the artists who collaborated on the original plus the people behind the new remixes, but it also features special guests including the likes of Get Physical label owner DJ T. and DJ Chus of Chus & Ceballos.

Just like the original release, this epic package includes a varied selection of house music styles including tribal, afro, downtempo, minimal, melodic and deep. Each has an immersive atmosphere with psychedelic vibes and a sun-drenched groove.

Helia Jamali re-imagines her own artwork by brightening up the original and shining a light on the diversity of this incredible release.
