My dear friends

I am happy to share my live recordings of one of the most magical night of my career so far.
I was invited to play in Oaxaca, Mexico together with Acid Pauli during 'Day of the dead' on 31st of oct 2015.
We played in some kind of old spanish church in the middle of the night. Because it was ‘the day of the death’ everybody was dressed like skelletons. They painted me as my dog Rivaldo, that passed away 3 months ago.
You can imagine playing in Mexico in a temple, on the day of the dead, with Acid Pauli, in front of Skelletons, while I was painted like my Rivaldo (and Martin had some kind of Jezus outfit) was pretty magical.

So I am excited to share with you the live recordings of this night.
I want to thank Mariana, ALKEMY and gem&bolt party w/ guest mezcal Amores and Meteoro to set up this night.
And all the people who came to show: you really made that temple come alive again!!

Superfancy Recordings is back on track. The second release after the label's relaunch comes from Stephan Zovsky (3000° Records, Style Rockets): After several remixes and compilations „Maybe Less“ EP is his first solo release on Superfancy Recordings.
„Horizont“ and „We Should“ are two true melodic techno hymns. Driving beats in combination with spheric lead sounds and arpeggio sequences which stay in mind turn these tracks in some dancefloor killers.
„ID Error“ is a tech house track par excellence. Pumping beats meet an extremely groovy bassline, which is supported by an organ hookline. Together with catchy vocal snippets this track will drive the crowd on the dancefloor mad.
In his remix Oscar OZZ (Katermukke, Lordag, Supdub) reduces the original to the core. He transforms the organ loop of „ID Error“ into a hypnotic sequence which he then combines with a vocal loop and minimal beats into a nice minimal house groover.

Speaking Minds & Amarcord make a welcome return to AEON with the Cosmic Friday EP, a moving five track release that features stunning remixes from scene heavyweights Fort Romeau and Moscoman.
“‘Cosmic Friday’ comes from the attempt to merge Krautrock influences with a blade runner-esque vibe while keeping the structure of a modern dance music record. ‘Drums & Oscillators’ instead is simply what the title recalls: a live session made with a Korg MS-20 recorded on a single take which remained unchanged. Cosmic Friday begins the EP powerfully, as a synth filled bassline rolls up and down before ethereal pads lead into rustling hi- hats. Fort Romeau’s Humanoid mix of the title track comes next, featuring distorted keys that pave the way for a moving piano chime, before Drums & Oscillators ratchets up the pace with subtle pulses and vibrating basslines. Moscoman’s Remix of Drums & Oscillators is another powerful dance number, as a chunky, wobbling rhythm is complemented by emotive violin calls, whilst the Night Drive Mix rounds off the EP with breakbeat-esque percussion and a penetrating acid solo.
Speaking Minds is a founding member of AEON alongside Alex Niggeman and Denis Horvat. Fellow Italian Amarcord is no stranger to the scene, having teamed up with Speaking Minds on the Mermaid’s Chant EP released on Canadian imprint My Favourite Robot Records. Esteemed record enthusiast Fort Romeau has produced standout releases for the likes of Running Back and Spectral Sound. Moscoman is the proprietor of respected imprint Disco Halal, and is a prolific producer and remixer, releasing on labels such as ESP Institute and Life and Death whilst similarly remixing the likes of Man Power and Bawrut.
