My Unchained Asia mix is my way of showcasing a bass-heavy, emotional, and deeply experimental sound. There’s something so special happening in drum & bass and electronic music across Asia, especially in places like China,Japan and India. The music coming out of these spaces feels raw and powerful—heavy, yes, but never harsh. It pushes boundaries in ways that really speak to me. I’m also hugely inspired and grateful to artists like Samurai Breaks, Napes. Toby Ross, Envy etc who introduced me to Dnb and made me fall in love with it in the first place.
