Every journey eventually leads us to a point where we are completely in our flow... and its beautiful! You can feel these ideas and moments passing through you with grace. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in this that it consumes us. And over time we end up losing our balance and not seeing things so clearly anymore. This can lead to darkness and confusion. These moments force us to look at ourselves from a different perspective. We face issues that have been ignored for a while. These moments are uncomfortable and edgy but we sit with the emotions and break through into a place of relief.

Govinda is the alter-ego of Austin based producer/composer Shane Madden. He began studying violin and composition at the age of eight and went on to study classical violin at the University of Texas where he fell in love with electronic music production. It was in Madden’s pursuit of his gypsy roots that he opened his ears to music from around the world. From experiences learning violin with mysterious masters on his journeys across the globe and his passion for modern design and technology, the current sound of Govinda was born.
