CARTHO is a multifaceted artist from the emerging electronic scene of the countryside of Rio de Janeiro. A native of Barra Mansa, he began his musical journey in 2017, composing and producing original tracks that reflected his sonic experiments and creative restlessness. In September 2021, he released his first album — a personal milestone that paved the way for new possibilities.

In 2024, CARTHO fully dives into electronic music production, developing a sound identity marked by fast-paced beats and an energy that flows between tribal house, techno, and guaracha, with strong Latin influences. His official debut as a DJ took place at the Lâmina party during a Carnival edition in Rio de Janeiro — a city that helped shape his personality and fueled his artistry and presence in the scene.

CARTHO has collaborated with artists such as Rafael Rosa, SammyDreams, wesout, Aurora Visage, and more. His productions have been featured in sets by DJs like Clementaum, Kbral among others.
