Thank you, you wonderful crowd that rocked the dance floor on Space Safari 2021, closing off the Zodiac Stage on Saturday! It was the great time we had ourselves combined with your energetic blow that inspired us to form “Waves Inbetween” …and…as a first act of this... recreate the set we played. Indeed, it wasn’t recorded live, but your feedback just didn’t cease ;-) Sooooo here it is - to those who were there, we hope it will bring you back to that fantastic night, just like it did with us - and to those who weren’t there, we hope to see you on the dance floor real soon and bring you all our “Waves Inbetween”!!! Phred is La dame Noir (Bar, Club, Label) co-founder, art director & DJ based in Marseille, South of France. Phred Noir has been producing tracks with Amevicious under “La dame Noir” name for different labels (Meant, Factor City, Blindetonation, LdN Rds ...). He is also been releasing records on “My Favorite Robot Rds” as Slow Porn alongside Remain from Meant Records. 

From Balearic Disco to Slow Techno via Dark Disco, from the seaside to the latest dance floor, Phred Noir likes to play between 100 & 120 BPM and feel even better right in the middle. From the slower BPM till his own 12 3bpm limit, this DJ likes to start the night and build up the tension to the end. 
Phred Noir has been DJing since 1995, and he started La dame Noir project in 2009. This LdN projects allowed him to witness how Nu-Disco evolved and how the french Techno scene came to slow down its own tempo, a fact that made those 2 music collide to give this new Dark Disco vibe. A sound represented today by labels like 
Les Disques De La Mort, Lumiere Noire, Correspondant, Meant, I’m A Cliché, Her Majesty’s Ship, Kill The DJ and most definitely La dame Noir Rds. 
Because of all this, he had the chance to play more then once alongside Mano Le Tough, Maceo Plex, Pachanga Boys, Chloé, Andrew Weatherall, Barnt, Ivan Smagghe, Munk, Pete Herbert, ALFOS, The Revenge, Mark E, Eddie C, Cosmo Vitelli, Simian Mobile Disco, Arnaud Rebotini, Michael Mayer, Tim Paris, Rayko, Dicky Trisco, Danton Eeprom, Curses, Amine Edge & Dance, Kavinsky and so many others. 
Phred has been booked those last summers in many festivals (Calvi On The Rocks, Alfresco, Marsatac, Les Plages Electroniques, Alfresco, Equation...), he’s been playing into the best french club like Paris-Paris, Social Club, Chez Moune, Le Baron, IBoat, Nuits Fauves, Wanderlust, Garage, and of course at his own La dame Noir dancing, and a few club in Asia Elevator (Shanghai), Basement (Hong Kong), Observatory (Ho Chi Minh), Savage (Hanoi), Dommune, Solfa, Module, Trump Room, Bonobo (Tokyo) & The Edge, Jamaica (Hiroshima). Of Course he has been playing also in other european cities like London, Manchester, Istanbul, Barcelona, Madrid, Roma & Berlin.

Patrick started djing when 16 years old and has a history of gigs in youth clubs , student parties clubs ,underground techno and psytrance scene in Belgium , As a youngster and as Dj Floorwax  he was resident DJ in The Grooveyard and the Hump playing an eclectic mix of hip Hop , techno , soul, funk , ragga and grooves sharing the decks with with baby B &Smos , DEG and ..... The residencies in Red&Blue and Cartiers followed taking a more trancy direction and his found love for trance music lead to  being part of the first wave of Goa trance DJ's in Belgium and around 1997 he was resident DJ at the legendary Dance-A delic parties and many others from 1998 until 2005 as Gowax. During this time he co-produced and released psy trance tracks together with industry veteran Tom Moons and Tikki Masala on various trance labels.

The last 10 years Gowax has been deep into Dark electronics picking up the wavy Liasons dangereuses vibe playing tracks  going from Dark Disco , EBM , techno to new wave infused tracks and everything that feels right for the night. Gowax has a solid love for underground rock and metal. Favourite bands from those days are Helmet , Urban dance Squad , KONG, No Means No ,Cosmic Psycho's and the rock riffs are therefore quite present in his Dark Electronics sets and mixes. Gowax is a DJ but also a dancer and this energy is always present in his DJ sets . Hope to see you soon on the dance floor somewhere 🚀 🖤

As Floorwax he plays a groovy mix of all quality electronic and non electronic tracks  he came across in his 36 years DJ career , this depending on the night and the wishes of the party promotor.
