rrupt is a musical project exploring vast territories between ambient, industrial and ethnic music...and some weird rock as well. rrupt has released five albums, soundscaped short films and art exhibits amongst other things.

here on soundcloud are the latest songs/demos. no particular mix, nothing fancy, just raw sounds from the forge.

rrupt started around 97 with 4-tracks experiments.

the first album "pour rose noire" is fully industrial, slow, like your ears are scraping against walls of rusty metal.

the second album "traverser" is a powerful ethnic/industrial mix entrancing the listener to oblivion.

the third album, "samizdat", is clearly easier to grasp while maintaining the original depth of rrupt.

the fourth album, "geôles" is industrial/ambient. not much hope to expect here, only darkness, despair...this sort of things.

Quelque part entre la trip-hop, indie, la pop, le tout en français. L'ambiance y est planante et poétique. Chloé Sollis puise dans l'émotion pour raconter des histoires qui, selon elle, n'auraient pu être partagées autrement.
