Nothing was out of place, everything seemed to be just the way it had always been, so why did it all feel so different? The effect had rippled through the atmosphere and taken over, and until the source was identified there would be no way of ever returning to normal....

Dansu Discs kickstart 2023 with the first collaborative EP from London producers LUXE and Tom Place. Their styles complement one another - LUXE's knack for huge bass lines and trance-influenced synths pair perfectly with Tom's off kilter approach to breaks and electro. On Moonquake the duo share three percussive, bass-driven tracks that bring together all those aforementioned influences, backed by a jungle flip from Banoffee Pies and Planet Euphorique alumni Angel D'lite.

Transaquae features ten international producers, traversing from the UK to Europe to Asia, each of whom interprets the theme of Water in their own distinct way.

Hi-NRG, lovecore, cakebeat, fabba. It can only be Angel D’lite. On her track "Dream 2 Reality", she melds an ascending synth line with snappy drums, building a wave of energy that doesn’t crash; it has a steady current throughout.

Nehza Records shares its seventh release, Hybrid, by Naarm-based artist Mabel, out on 23rd June

Melbourne's Mabel makes her Nehza Records debut with five tracks that blur the lines between psytrance, progressive house, breakbeat and tech house, culminating into one psychedelic trip. Mabel titles each track after a hybrid animal, hence the EP's name Hybrid, aligning the release with Nehza's vision of telling stories about nature through electronic music. With this in mind, Mabel conjures impressions of forest and beachside raves, dancing with creatures that lurk just beneath.

The independent Paris based label D.KO Records announces a fresh new various 4 tracker. Back to the roots with
hand stamped records, “Cœur De Glace” introduces two newcomers on the label: Binary Digit & Fasme. GGGG,
Mud Deep & Sans-Qui are keeping control of the house in this one.

Binary Digit kicks things off with a massive techno/house banger in his very own crafted style: high speed energy
that can instantly wake up every sleepy dance-floor or liven you up wherever you are. Tested & approved.

“Morning” is a deep electro cut from the French master, Fasme. It feels like a dreamy synth-pop song from the 80s
and retro dystopian futuristic themes all merged together.

“La Cueillette” by GGGG is reminiscent of the early Detroit’s sound with a modern touch that only GGGG can
provide. The song is about a deep dive into the woods, where one can find fresh ideas and blueberries.

Finally, Mud Deep & Sans-Qui close this VA with “Mesonyx”. An all in one track: infinite bassline, breakbeat,
melancholic pads, acid duels, hardcore jungle, cheesy and trancy lead, lovers walk…It’s a journey that never ends
