Splatter is the new techno label from Austrian artists Luca Tresque and Joe Haensn who both feature on this special edition prequel release titled X-Over.

The talented Luca Tresque is from Linz, Austria and has already appeared on the likes of Florian Meindl's FLASH, Robert Hoff's trau-ma and Alex Bau's Credo, as well as being a resident at Kantine Club once and playing at the respected Werk and Grelle Forelle venues.

Fellow Austrian and Splatter co-owner Joe Hänsn also contributes to this EP and makes his debut with a driving and twisted sound that will be sure to make an impression.

Expect to hear a raw and hypnotic techno cut bursting with energy and a rolling jam with a twisted vibe...

Null Forms debuts in our digital series with an extensive 5-track EP that covers the most direct part of techno, but with an elaborate and complex character. Distorted Reality is the first exercise in this EP, direct to the bone from the first bars, with repetitive and piercing components, administered with the precise dose of distortion. Hence the title. Nox is the second cut, which moves in similar parameters, but with more mental and hypnotic components. The development here is more progressive without leaving aside forcefulness and controlled aggressiveness at all times. BiiBii, approaches more abstract and sci-fi terrain, maintaining the danceable pulse and well-managed distortion. The result this time is more mental and synthetic. A kind of controlled chaos. We approach the end of the danceable exercises with Nope, where more floating elements are introduced such as high-frequency drones combined with rough and saturated textures that result in an ideal song for the peak moments in any long session. To finish, Void represents the farewell in ambient mode, completely absent of rhythm, with liquid textures and combined organic and synthetic components.
