One of Bristol’s best-kept secrets now lands on Timedance with their sumptuous debut EP ‘remember this body?’. Charged with a juxtaposition between feverish peak time and dreamy downbeat, the producer here displays a sonic palette which is as eerie as it is advanced.

On ’remember this body?’ Cleyra offers a kaleidoscopic view of their diverse approach to crafting songs, nourished with a deep, emotional and seductive energy. Across five tracks we take a deep dive into Cleyra’s idiosyncratic worlds. Subdued pads carry us through lucid-dream-inducing soundscapes where strangeness and elegance go hand in hand. Then come playful twists, as a harder side to their sound is unleashed, engineered to alight the sweatiest and most mutant of dancefloors.

On the flip side, Cleyra takes listeners on a breathtaking ride over the course of a 17-minute epic ’There Is Nothing Happening Between Us’, navigating between mournful ambience and heads-down pulsating Techno with a grace and delicateness rarely heard. The track fades before bringing things home with lush, dubbed-out, synths, suspending time with a poignant elegance.

Bait is set to release the debut EP, ‘Hepp’, from Leipzig producer Old Man Crane with four subterranean bass experimentations.
Marking the 16th release on the label since its inception in 2023, the connection between Old Man Crance and the label started via a DM with her demos and blossomed into a collaborative partnership including a spontaneous back-to-back with Beatrice M. at Bassmaessage last year. The ‘Hepp’ EP follows shortly on from Old Man Crane’s first appearance on Bait via the One Hundred and Fifty Steps compilation series and begins an exciting chapter for the emerging artist.

Old Man Crane 'Hepp' EP (out 11.07.25)

Impérieux debuts on Hessle Audio with the Fena EP, an immersive collection of 4 tracks defined by his unpredictable and varied sonic palette. Drawing on a heritage that threads through Turkey, Greece and his home city of Kırcaali in Bulgaria, Alper Durmush channels a turbulent year in which six months of creative stillness ignited unexpectedly into an explosive burst of musical ideas.

"Fena is a word my Mum used to call me as a kid" recounts Durmush on the title track. "The name comes from Turkish, but with a Balkan twist, it means a mischievous rascal - wild, unpredictable, a bit too much at times". This restless energy is perfectly captured with jittering interferance and snarling sawtooth synths bursting through the mix, threatening to overwhelm the speakers and sending sound engineers running for cover. 'Sickomode' encapsulates the push-pull emotional sensibility of the EP, with confidence and meloncholy rotating, shifting, and giving way to each other.

'Saat' is an attempt to recreate a track based solely on a surreal description, relayed by a veteran of the rave scene in his home town - "This guy told me about a festival in the woods back in the early 2000s, where someone played a track with dogs barking in the break - the volume rising constantly." The initial dissonance of its detuned lead releases into a euphoric rush of melody, a combination which is becoming something of a producer trademark. The EP closes with the quiet, unwavering warmth of 'Cawuso', a nickname for a person that the artist met last year. "This very special person showered me with kindness and purity. It almost felt unreal, so I decided to dedicate this track to them."

In a flurry of angular beats and space age synth licks, Livity Sound welcomes Willis Anne to the fold under the guise of a new alias, Foreigner. Operating within the thriving scene around his current base Naarm, Anne brings a live, jammed-out focus to machine-rooted electronic performance that translates into his productions. All four tracks on this new EP crackle with improvised energy, whether it manifests in the dramatic synth shapes on 'Last Peoples' or tangled up in the beat exploration on 'Visible'. At its core, the EP makes its mark thanks to the clarity of Anne's ideas as he swerves the temptation to over-work the sound, ringing true with the immediate, spacious approach of Livity Sound's many-side catalogue.
