been pretty uninspired for a while, so i haven't been uploading anything. this was a quick improvised experiment, i might do more if i decide i like these. i sat down and improvised on the piano, then i plugged in some headphones and improvised over some parts again with an organ. this is the end result.

unfortunately there's an audio glitch in there somewhere, i'm not sure what happened. but it's an improv sooo i cant exactly repeat it again!

so i'm not very good at this whole 'editing' thing (nor am i much good at this 'singing' thing!). oh well, practice makes perfect, yeah? if you've read or seen the hunger games by suzanne collins you'll know where this came from. it's different from the film version but it's what i envisioned it to be when i read the books for the first time. 

oh and this is for the current piano cloud challenge to make a children's song. =]

calm (july 22)

i had something else planned originally for this recording -- it was going to have piano, for one. it was going to be of better quality with my good mic not my bad one, for another. and it wasn't originally going to include me talking, but due to various things, aka life, i had to change my plans. 

so uhm... this is my very left-of-centre interpretation of amber.

so uhm i was originally going to play silent night on the harmonica, but i figured this was better. i thought it would be difficult to restrict myself to 30 seconds but it was surprisingly easier than i thought =]
