"From the start, I was really impressed by the voice of this singer. Her pitch is right on point and her range is awesome. I love that she remakes Maroon 5 into a soulful and jazz like song. It is extremely easy listening and still fun because everyone knows the popular hit "Moves Like Jagger". The simple piano in the background is done just right and is good because the singer's vocals can be heard and appreciated for what they are, and that is amazing."

Myth

Delves into my childhood psyche, and repeats some of the things my abusive and neglectful mother had said (or implied over many words) that stuck with me and gave me distorted self-image and a lot of trauma to deal with. 
I'm healed for the most part these days, but I was removed from home at 11 as a result of her abuse.
When we later reconnected, my mother denied the abuse and claimed I had actually just abandoned her.
I felt in order to have a mother that accepted me, I would have to gaslight myself with her version of events and deny the truth of our shared past.
This song is about her warped and sick perspective as I see it and sounds as sinister and confusing as it felt to be near her.
