artistic advancement combined with a logical stylistic continuation is an important aspect of nebulo's work. the 'basements' ep is the first part of thomas pujols' new conceptual idea which is completed by the full length release 'castles'. the visible emphasis of nebulo's new works lies in the addition of as yet unheard sound aesthetics developed during the last two years. the atmospheres transferred with these sounds range from dreamy and mesmerizing to abruptly irritating and even menacingly forceful. like a sonic architect, nebulo successfully explores new territories and strikes a new path, where 'basements' can be allegorized as the foundation

'Rites Of Passage' traditionally refer to rituals distinguishing movements from one period of life to the next. Solitary Dancer’s debut LP evokes a retrospective of these experiences, organized into four acts: coming into being, detachment, liminality, and re-incorporation of the self. This narrative calls for a self-exploration of moral corruption, loss of innocence, social rebellion, and societal disillusionment.

‘Rites Of Passage’ is the first release on Solitary Dancer’s imprint, Private Possessions. After having released on some of the world’s most esteemed underground labels such as Dark Entries, Graded, and Optimo, Private Possessions was borne out of a desire to control all aspects of output pertaining to the development, creation, and dissemination of their music, video, and other media.
