The third edition from the Exit Planet Earth vinyl series features four more exclusive intergalactic selections from Ralph Lawson. 

'Exit Planet Earth - Nitrogen' features a selection of pioneers and up and coming talent. First up is a true legend of the UK electro scene, Keith Tenniswood aka ‘Radioactive Man’, who creates a constantly evolving sonic trip called ‘One Out’. Watch out for the surprise sting in it’s tail too. Sharing the A side is the incredibly talented Spanish producer Annie Hall, arriving fresh from her stunning CPU releases. Annie creates melodic landscapes, layered with intricate string orchestration driven by deep bass. 

On the flip side Helsinki-based Sunny Seppä aka Sansibar shows exactly why he is fast becoming hot property following his immense debut album on FTP - ‘Targeted Individuals’.  Sansibar brings the record back to the 4/4 with a flowing yet subtle working of synths and pads. Also based in Finland yet hailing from Holland is VC-118A, who previously caught our attention with his track ‘PCB’ a firm favourite at Exit Planet Earth events. VC118-A delivers some deep space dub with expertly crafted production centring on low end theory.

RDSCL07 (VINYL ONLY) (RED-BLACK MARBLED VINYL) | Snippets

It is extremely difficult to detect an ‘Extrasolar Moon’ and this analog dub techno cut has been proved to be as close to the free-floating planet as possible. Its bassline-driven raw jacking acid techno is perfectly aligned with grad_u’s signature heavily echoed dub, and the only thing that protects one from escaping the orbit is flipping to side B. There one’ll find yet another 10+ minutes of goosebumps, this time erected by ‘Geomagnetic Storm’, a pure and emotionally vigorous dubbed out bomb. 

The 12” from Redscale is an ultimate equity between the outer space of a dancefloor and the inner self of the mind. Last but by no means least is the fact it has been mastered at the legendary Dubplates & Mastering in Berlin.

KERG likes tunes of all shapes and sizes. His main influence can be credited to the music produced by the likes of Gerald Donald, Brendan M. Gillen, James Stinson, Gerard Hanson, Kraftwerk and Juan Atkins among many others. This has been a recurring theme that has emanated consistently through the years.

In 2009 he co-founded Binary Funk, a weekly online streaming show. This weekly stream kept going for 3 years and in 2012 after over 130 shows it was time to call it quits. This allowed some free time to focus on producing some music and in 2012 Craig Mac released music on Binalog Frequency, Borg Recordings, The Anti-Social Network and Shameless Toady.

In 2014 he started work on his new moniker, KERG. With the sole aim of diversifying his sound and exploring new styles. This approach has stemmed onto his new project, titled Cult Society.

Cult Society is an entity aimed at exploring and showcasing electronic music which is both boundary pushing and explorative. Exciting times ahead.
