He releases his first EP. A1 Further From The Source is a track that develops deeply based on electro. A2 Unexploded Ordance and B1 Bacterial Injection are speedy and atomistic electro. This is his field of expertise. B2 Acid Eye is an acid house track with an emotional atmosphere. There are powerful works that caused a stir in the current electro scene.

“Holdback”, an unexpected twist of events for followers of Redscale, is actually a bold step forward in terms of pace and light. The enticing chords work like a magnet, and the potential of the lady on the mic is no lower than that one of a siren. The personal weapons of grad_u, the most powerful of which are the embracing loops, are of course out there, indicating the producer’s inner spirit and roots. 

Picking up where “Holdback” left off, “Outwards from Laniakea” is a statement more rugged, yet as absolute as the message on side A. It’s an invitation to put that jacket back to the cloakroom, switch off that phone and let yourself go, again and again. It’s, once again, a compelling statement against conformity.

Next to take a virtual trip Down The Stairs (ok, apart from a few early ones, it's been virtual pretty much the whole time, we'll be honest...) is one half of Australian based duo @Interstellarfugitives, by the name of Georgia Bird (@georgia-bird-3). 

When we discovered a live club mix of Georgia's (https://soundcloud.com/jamiethescorpio/georgia-bird-at-glamorama-for-kinky-audio-11-1am), we basically stumbled upon the art of a warm set being carried out to perfection. It blew us away, and we didn't hesitate to give her a shout with a request to join the DTS ranks. Thankfully, the answer was yes and Georgia has delivered a building hour of rhythmic and heady grooves across to the other side of the world.

In 2006 the now defunct BaseLogic label released the first in a triad of EP's entitled 'Fixxy', produced by the enigmatic British artist Ed Chamberlain. These EPs left many electronic music lovers scratching their heads, having heard something genuinely different. It represented a new generation of IDM reminiscent of The Black Dog or Plaid, melancholic electro with a meticulous nuanced palate that immediately transformed Chamberlain into a revered figure.

Fifteen years on Lapsus Records, as part of its 'Perennial' series, will release Ed Chamberlain’s superlative productions across 2x12", entitled '03/06'. The lavish 12” double pack will feature a sizeable part of the ‘Fixxy’ material, along with additional tracks created during the same period of time, 2003 – 2006, including 'Zarathustra' and 'Does Ape' –the latter released on vinyl in 2008 by Madrid label Semantica–. For this special release all tracks have been re-mastered and will be pressed and packaged in a deluxe edition format.
