Luca Lozano, owner of Klasse Recordings presents this majestic 4 track EP on Optimo Trax. Inspired by the past but sounding the antithesis of retro. In his own words....

"The Optimo Trax EP was born out of a time when I was listening to a lot of old Bleep House and Rave, early 90s UK stuff. Growing up in Sheffield I was lucky enough to spend some time in Warp Records when it was still a record store and being around this music and the people that made it must have somehow embedded itself into my psyche. Listening to pirate radio stations like Fantasy FM as a teenager helped shape my musical interests as they are today and I guess this EP is somehow a reflection of that education, I wanted to make a collection of music that sounded like it was related to a certain place and time and in effect confirm my own identity within its context."

'Have a Nice Trip' off Aniara 15 (2016)

Primary Colours keeps the theme going on their Reserve series collaborating with another great friend, Silver Ash. Mad Roy found its way from Brisbane to Melbourne to the Victorian Coast before finally finishing its journey on this limited edition 10 inch wax. 

Modulating synths, polyrhythmic percussion, tape delays and one massive bassline all work in tandem to create a tune full of building grooves and sneaky surprises. 

Mad Roy will shake the foundations of the biggest clubs. 

Mad Roys remix began its journey 16 years ago. Richie Hawtin released "Closer To The Edit" that year and was picked up at the local record store and immediately played on the car stereo on the way home. Instantly mesmerised by the groove the sleeve notes were pulled out to find Bluetrain vs Dean DeCosta >Diminishing Returns< Special Edition Dub on Mosaic was that record. That moment changed everything. It would be their dream to one day have one of their tracks remixed by one of their biggest influences and this day has arrived! The sixth release from Solkyss is a real Smorgasbord with influences from all over Sweden.

Edvin Wikner, head chef and local marathon dancer, serves us an original production accompanied by a collaboration with Malmo-based Per Hammer. Trauma Tribe celebrates their shared love of extended morning sets—a passion ultimately manifested at Emmabodafestivalen two years ago when they broke Sweden’s record of the longest DJ set to date, playing for 24 hours straight.

The Original Kai Saa comes with an outstanding remix from no other than Arkajo.
