Downtempo Bass

A fano plane is the finite projective plane of order 2 with the smallest possible number of points and lines: 7 points and 7 lines, with 3 points on every line and 3 lines through every point. Musically it creates a drifting rhythmic sensation in which elements slowly move out of time and then readjust. The track also utilizes elements of the fano plane definition - with a section in 7/4, and 3 drops.

In mathematics, the Leech lattice is an even unimodular lattice in 24-dimensional Euclidean space. Furthermore, quantizers can use such a lattice to minimize error. This lattice has also been used to describe bosonic string theory, compactified on the 24-dimensional quotient torus and orbifolded by a two-element reflection group. All this served as inspirational fuel for making this track, with the hope it will give you the fuel to transcend 4D space-time ;-)

Leech Lattice

In Japanese, "Maho no kazu" is a translation for "magic number". In nuclear physics, magic numbers refer to a specific number of protons or neutrons to form a complete nucleon shell and are therefore much more stable than other nuclei. By exploring adding and subtracting sonic elements, we strived to find a balance between stability and instability, creating a visceral journey through sound.

Each day we're closer to the upcoming EP as well as their upcoming film release, Monaba, we are rolling out 3 singles from the EP once a month through early July. 

Striving to balance light arpeggios, heavy basses, and impactful syncopated rhythms, "Isotopes" breathes with intensity before heating up to a climax where all elements merge as one.

“ONDO” means “deep” in Spanish, a word we chose to capture the sensation of descending into the subconscious…a cenote, a black hole, the shadowy edges of the psyche. It’s all about finding one's way in the dark, and holding onto the light, no matter how heavy it gets.

And the vocals from “Supersonic (My Existence)” seemed to fit like a glove.

I try to keep my head down and not pay too much attention to numbers or reception, as I think those can distract and displace one's priorities, but also because sometimes it can be downright overwhelming. Once in a while I look up and see people listening all around the world and just feel a gratitude so deep and poignant that the only thing I can think to do to process it is just make more music.
