The Electric Kool-Aid Festival Tour

Jane Alcorn is Dean and Professor, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan, and joined me for a very informative conversation about the groundbreaking research they are doing. From a study involving children who's monthly seizures disappeared to the roadblocks they face in studying the plant. There have been some interesting anecdotal evidence and Jane hopes to provide actual research into the plant to provide medicine and also dispel some of the misconceptions about the plant - good and bad. 


Chris Ianson is our educator and a Regional Manager with Plantlife Cannabis. Each week on Know Your Buds, we explore a different cultivar and make recommendations for what level of cannabis user it fits with based on their level of experience. Cafe Racer from Farmstead is on the menu this week, a 70-30 sativa that is just shy of 20% THC. Some awesome terpenes, and a terrific and tasty lineage makes this a terrific cultivar for a wake 'n bake. It's also really pretty to look at, terrific, bright pistils and trichome city.

We're back with the second season of The 420 Sessions, a series of cannabis-inspired mixes from some of Edmonton's best DJ's and producers and kicking off the second season we have ha ha.

Sarah Farrell aka ha ha is a feminine pillar in the YEG electronic music scene who does it all for the love of house music, healing and creative collaboration. She has been hitting dance floors since 2005 and through her own experience as a dance floor regular she grew into becoming one of the brightest vibe setters in Edmonton. Her sunny disposition radiates through her mixing, getting entire floors moving and laughing together. It’s no joke how good ha ha is at setting a vibe.

Here is the introduction to our time at North Country Fair and indeed the intro to our summer time festival tour we are embarking on with The Dream Zine.  Here we give our initial impressions of the festival and what we would like to see during the festival and the tour itself.

North Country Fair - Interview with K-Riz

Trevor, Murray and Shea from Scenic Route to Alaska stopped by the GRadio.ca booth at North Country Fair in between their two performances at the festival to talk about the festival and what's been happening with one of Edmonton's most happening bands.
