Danny is a young Israeli producer based in Tel Aviv. He proved his latest talent with us with his incredible EP. A deep, profound and soft music that will appel to all of you. We feel very lucky to have him on our on Fantastic Friends Recordings and we know that he will not disappoint you.
He also has by his side Manuel de Lorenzi to complete this EP. Producer since almost 15 years, he signed on massive label music such as « Rhythmetic, EarlyDub or Catwash ». Then in 2013 he started his very own lable known as "Monday Morning" and signed different artists : Chad Andrew, Proudly People and Dan Noel ». We feel very pround for having him on the new EP.

Laconic phrases are all about less words and more sense. We use the same principles in our stripped down grooves which are released on fresh imprint - Laconica. Its all about minimalistic dance-floor tools which were tested in different clubs around the world, from Kyiv’s ‘Closer’ to Concrete in Paris. 

For a debut EP, label founder Alex Pervukhin presents 3 different grooves. 
On A-side you can find ‘Hommie Groove’, which is an excellent example of a broken-beat house music with good-old airy Juno pads. On B side there are two 4/4 tools: ‘BB’, which could be heard in Varhat’s mix for Concrete which was so hyped last year. ‘AA’ is a peak-time killer with analogue chords and jackin bassline. Strong minimalistic grooves - exactly what Laconica is all about.

B1. Alex Pervukhin – BB (Night Tool)

Finding his feet as a DJ on pirate radio stations during the '90s, James Puentes is a long-familiar name on the London club scene. These days favouring the classier end of groove-based house and techno, he's a regular feature at the capital's leading club nights, playing all over the country during his already illustrious career.

With appearances at Fabric's Wet Yourself and Groovefest Malta to look forward too, most days are spent slogging away in his Hackney studio where he works hard crafting out his own distinctive dancefloor sound as a producer as well as spinning records ready for his widely-respected vinyl sets.

A self-taught musician, he learnt his trade as a DJ on a pair of Soundlabs back in the '90s and with 20 years of music knowledge under his belt. His encyclopedic house sets are as educated as they come.

A well-connected, amicable guy who always lets the music do the talking, James has amassed countless friends on the UK dance scene over the years, helping to throw parties and linking up with leading industry figures at the world's most important club events.

A lover of music for the right reasons, he prides himself on being a versatile DJ who can read a dancefloor and control a crowd any time of day or night. A master of sexy yet earthy percussive grooves, he's as careful to please a dancefloor as he is of preserving his own values as a renowned vibe creator.

“I want to make others feel the way I feel when listening or playing music. Witness the satisfaction people have through my judgement of music,” said James when asked about his love of DJing.
