Bit of a wacky one this , written by and lead vocals by Gaz Brownie , he sent me a rough draft and basically said " off you go Mike " We got keyboard whizz kid Axel Menningen on board , and the whole thing turned out really good , we hope you like it ! Me , Gaz and Nat have just finished a real belter of a song , took a bit of doing but worth it in the end , released in about a month . Next up is me and Dave Cooper , closely followed by me and Glenny G . then a re release of last years Christmas song ( didn't have time to do a new one ! ) Plus me and Charlotte are working on 2 stunning songs , yet to be completed . This song was originally written, specifically, to suit the Percussion / Drum skills of Karl Hielgeist ( RIP )…  We were in rehearsal with the first group I was with ( Greenfleamusic… my old pen name when I originally started playing / writing again after a 22 year layoff from music ) consisting of Me, Karl on drums, Ledge on Bass and Lumpy ( Mike Juric ) on harmonica. We were scouting venues and zeroing in on the needs of different listeners..  We needed upbeat “ Make em Drink “ songs.. Ironically, the lyrics don’t suggest that drinking is the best idea… but all the same, it did make the line form rather quickly at the bar. This song was debuted in a rather upscale venue called “ Raue Center for the Arts “..  We ended up getting the gig and did play on their beautiful stage where many world famous artists play still to this day..  I have Video archives as well

This recording was a live demo for the group “ Ruddy Nickel “… we released a cd with some tracks that represents our sound at the time..  we originally had a drummer ( Kevin L. ) we were rehearsing with, but he never made it to the studio and we parted ways soon after.. We did some gigs together the four of us.. sort of tumultuous… as bands can get..

I finally found a Studio !!!!  I will be going in just after the first of the year to record as much of my catalog as I can.. I'm getting some help from a local artist who runs a studio in Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin. I will be re-recording a lot of stuff .. to MY liking.. and many new songs which will mostly take priority. It will be strictly solo with guest performers from the local scene…

First of all thanks for dropping in on my page.
I sing, write songs and play rhythm guitar. I'm trying to learn a bit of bass. People tell me I've got a reasonable voice and I have a liking for melody. As I make my way with multi-track home recording, I'm hoping the the end result will be greater than the sum of the parts!
