Inspired by the powerful and over-the-top soundtracks of big and brash 1980s fantasy films such as Conan The Barbarian, Red Sonja, and Krull, 'Hero Of A Forgotten Kingdom' is a piece of 'fake orchestral music'. That is, western orchestral-style music made with synth patches that imitate the sounds of orchestral instruments. So expect tons of punchy brass, lashings of strings, and explosions of percussion all over this deliberately loud and ostentatious track.

This track is featured on the album 'Mythology' which has been released by HEIMAT DER KATASTROPHE as both a digital download and as a physical cassette tape release, complete with superb artwork and a mini gamebook included which is inspired by interactive literature of the 1980s.
